It's always continue from where we are. So, I'll feel good to see you continuing GPL. I agree that activity is down atm but you can take it up as a challenge to bring back that interest in the managers as it was before.

Also, If you'll think of the other two options then you'll have to put some or the other efforts so why not continue with GPL.

Alright I have decided to call off GPL after the ninth season as I am seeing that the activity and interest level has dropped considerably, or probably I want to try something different, so I want a few suggestions from my current GPL managers as well as other there out on PlanetCricket. Here are some ideas I've got. It might be just too quick to start this, but..

1. Continue with GPL

2. Oceania Premier League: I'll bring the story of "just_cricket" to the leagues.

3. Southern Cricket League (it'll be better than the one I thought initially)

I would just do what you want to do and not worry about what anyone else has to say. If you're not enjoying running your league whether it be because interest has waned or it's gotten a bit old for you, then it might be time for a change.

Since you're looking for our opinions, I'll be very interested to see you start something new. Could you elaborate more on the Southern Premier League?

Premier League for the teams from the Southern Hemisphere (AUS, RSA, NZL). Much like the Super 14 league in Rugby. Very good concept.
Just so you know, no one's presently running the Caribbean PL.

As for me, I'd already said this, but nevertheless will reiterate again that Season X will the last of LMS, considering I'm getting incredibly busy nowadays.

Also tbh, I'd have retired from the GPL anyway after Season IX, given it isn't a PL and would have continued only in the EPL and the NZPL. But the SPL looks an interesting idea and thus should definitely be enrolling myself in there.

Just an idea, but how about Major League Cricket? Each team has to have a USA player in their lineup, and no more than one player from each nation? Could be intersting. Otherwise, I'd love to see a Super-14 type league.

How about a league like the CLT20 2011.It'll have 14 city teams from top 14 ranked cricket nations.10th to 14th ranked teams will be in a qualifying round of which two qualified teams can progress into the main tournament.I dont have so much time to make such a league so somebody interested in making new leagues can use this idea if they want to.

Well, the southern league gives more scope. Maybe if you went with 3 Aussie, 2 Kiwi, and 3 Saffer teams to try to reduce the gap between local players? I like auctions, too.

The OPL would be amazing - remember when Hedger ran the TTT? That was similar I believe. The only downside would be that you would forever be in the shadow of the story, unless you could use his header, footer and graphics?

Wrong time buddy! All cricket league staff members have been inactive lately, probably due to Christmas and the festive season.
