Lunch Day 2
Frizzell County Championship Division 2
Lancashire v Derbyshire at Old Trafford
Derbyshire 226 All out

Lancashire 3/84

B.Hodge 30 (62)
S.Law 8 (22) no
M.Loye 4 (15) no

S.Moore 2/8
R.Balaji 1/36

Lancashire trail by 142 runs

A good first session for Derbyshire with Balaji claiming an early breakthrough, followed by some soild batting from Hodge and Chilton to put Lancashire in the box seat at 1/73. Until spin whiz Steve Moore was brought into the attack and claimed two quick wickets to have Derbyshire right back in the match. Law and Loye surrvived a very testing time just before lunch to steady there side to 3/84.

Tea Day 2
Frizzell County Championship Division 2
Lancashire v Derbyshire at Old Trafford
Derbyshire 226 All out
Lancashire 5/178

M.Loye 36 (102)
W.Hegg 20 (41) no
K.Hogg 4 (11)

S.Moore 3/21
R.Balaji 2/65

Lancashire trail by 48 runs

Lancashire are edging closer to Derbyshires first innings total here at Old Trafford. Warren Hegg looks in fine touch, he will need some support though at the other end. For Derbyshire all bowlers have bowled well with Moore and Balaji sharing the wickets.

Pah. I failed again. Rob, could i be dropped down the order in the CC. I'm happy to open the national league, but not county championship. If one of the lower order guys fancy a go at the top.
