Who wants to open the batting with S.Harmison?

4:56 Day 2
Frizzell County Championship Division 2
Lancashire v Derbyshire at Old Trafford
Derbyshire 226 All out
Lancashire 216 All out

Derbyshire lead by 10 runs

A super bowling performance after tea by Laws saw the home side crumble to ten runs short of the Derbyshire total, the only Player to show in will or grit was the experienced keeper Hegg. Hegg almost steered the home side to a first innings lead and most probably a good one at that had any of the player around him given him any support. We seen some brilliant fielding out there today with some classic catches being held by this young and enegetic Derbyshire side.

Well Derbyshire will now face a very texting last hour here today, the openers will be hoping to start tommorrow with no wickets down as the match really hangs in the balance.

It looks as though the players and umpires are making there way out into the centre, so lets rejoin the action.

End of Play Day 2
Frizzell County Championship Division 2
Lancashire v Derbyshire at Old Trafford
Derbyshire 226 All out
Lancashire 216 All out
Derbyshire 5/56

B.Molloy 20 (21)
N.Hemlani 15 (39)
L.Freeman 10 (18) no
S.Martin 5 (21) no

D.Cork 3/29
J.Anderson 2/20

Derbyshire lead by 66 runs

Derbyshire could not has dreamed of a worse start as the top order just collapsed here at Old Trafford. Nightwatchman Hemlani toilled hard until he was give out LBW, which was a harsh decision. Molloy show some form before he also fell on 20. It will take a real miricle here for Derbyshire to come back, i would say the best they could hope for would be a draw.
It looks as though the players and umpires are making there way out into the centre, so lets rejoin the action.

Derbs are struggling here. Poor display of batting by them. Completely irresponsible batting by them. It looks they are losing track now after coming so close to trophy.
