Don Bradman 17 PC Now Available - General Discussion

I feel DBC17 is going to be much better (In comparison to DBC14) experience for Career & Offline Mode. Online I have yet to play, so can comment only after I experience it myself. Cant wait for the game to release on 17th January.

Unless there is an official word from BAS, its difficult to assume anything. I personally feel it will come with some fixes than what is already in the console version, but lets wait for the official word from the developer.

A recent review on Steam from someone playing the PC version suggests that some fixes are in this release (cover drive, stable pro cam, etc.)...but not long to wait for us to see for ourselves.

Well don't worry few lucky people are already playing the pc version so the game will be definitely out by 17th.

It would be good to get some information about the release though, it's due tomorrow.

The steam review by some guy looks like either a bunch of lies or just hyperbole and exaggeration and overhyping the game. DBC 17 has some issues at present and console release doesn't even remotely gel with the steam pc review. Unless there's such drastic improvements in the PC, which I doubt tbh.

Anyways, it's just a couple of days. Lets see how it is. If it's good on the PC, I might consider buying it on pc as well. I'm not happy with many things like just one animation per shot type, regardless opener from SA plays it or tailender from Papua New Guinea. C'mon... this is silly. Same for bowlers and fielders. Also, I hate that opener plays shots with nearly same skill as tail enders. There may be subtle differences in skills but it doesn't appear so playing the game whatsoever.

Just played some DBC 17 on PS VR and although VR is great for many games, in VR it is actually very blurry for players farther away including bowlers than on TV. Not sure if it is this game or just PS VR.

Lets see how other reviews stack up. The guy who made the poll and got banned actually had a very accurate review of the game.

No he is not banned. Also this game is not meant for VR, so playing it on VR and complaining about it makes close to zero sense. Agree on other things but as the "guy who wrote the accurate review", I think I believe the steam review too. Only reason is I have seen Dutch's videos and it looks that he has a patched up game.

One of those reviews is mine and is based on my own experience after playing for some 30 hours on the pc version. It is a true reflection of my thoughts and experience.
