Well given that the edges system is so crucial to the game I stand by that statement. I am not of the "they said it is OK so t must be Ok" school of thoughtIt's true. Four lines that are almost reasonable and then a final one filled with such hyperbole that that the effect of sounding reasonable is quite ruined...

My general point is that the ai/gameplay balancing has not been evidenced as yet.
On lower difficulty there is obviously a problem!
Thus the neccessity to wait and see one would presume, if one was to follow ones thought through?
To be or not to be?
To passively wait or proactively influence?
The fundamental problem of existence.
Am I correct in saying you think the obvious flaw in the easier difficulty levels is that it is too easy to score? Or am I misunderstanding something?
For some of us yes. Or to follow the process that has been given namely wait for the game, play it, give constructive feedback based on experience and BA will patch it accordingly if they can and need to.
My statement was based on the fact that you yourself described the lack of evidence to be able to form a valid opinion> That is what I menat by waiting nad seeing.....
But we really must do better as we are losing much of our audience I notice.
Easier difficulty means being able to smash the ball around for four every ball?
it's a harsh world.

Which, even if that is the case is an improvement on all other titles as you could do that in the hardest difficulty as well.

It is as harsh as we wish to make it.
After watching all the gameplay videos there's one thing which struck me and maybe Matt, Ross or anyone else who was at the play-session can provide more info... I hardly saw any shots behind the wicket. Shots like glance, tuck off the legs to fine leg, flick off the pads to deep fine/square leg, glide to third man are staple shots in cricket and generally 30-40% of the runs come from behind the wkts area. Yet we hardly saw these shots in the play-session videos. Was it because it's tough to score behind the wkts in the game?
