Michael Hussey aka Mr Cricket.The first to practice and the last to leave, Hussey certainly gave himself every chance of doing well.In just 166 days he become the fastest player to 1000 Test runs.In Ashes 2010-11 he was the only player alongside Cook who scored more than 500 runs but his effort went into vain as Australia lost the series by the margin of 3-1.Hussey scored 4 centuries against England and two of came in his last ever Ashes Series, He also scored his career best in The Ashes 2010 and was unlucky to miss out on his first double century.

Michael Clarke made his debut for New South Wales as an 18 year old boy.He made his Ashes debut on 2nd July 2005.Clarke form was very poor in The Ashes 2005 but in The Ashes 2006/07 he scored 389 runs at the average of 77.80 and he also scored 2 centuries as Australia whitewashed England.In The Ashes 2009 he was the highest run scorer for Australia but his effort went in vain as Australia lost the series.When Punter stood down from the captaincy of the Australian Test Side after the 2011 World Cup,Clarke was appointed as his permanent replacement.He is currently the only batsman in Australian Cricket Team having a 50 average in test cricket.
