The skipper Cameron White took the wicket of Dighton shortly after Slatter was taken out of the attack. Michael Bevan continued to fly the flag for the home side and received some support from Di Venuto (22) who was caught Hussey bowled Moss. He was shortly followed by Scott Kremerskothen for just 3 when Moss had him caught by Hodge.

The partnership between Bevan and wicketkeeper Clingeleffer is moving steadily at the moment but with just 19 minutes past on the final day at Bellerive the question on everyone?s lips is ?Can they hold on?? Really sorry for the lack of updates but exams are comming up and now is always the time teachers decide to hit you with assignments that they didn't give you when they should have. I'll try to update whenever i can for the next 2 or so weeks but it wont be all that often. Cheers
exams... good excuse.....i would of said i got a virus and my computer broke down, but ur doing a great job, i abandoned my story after a ODI so plz dont abandon this 1 this is possibly the best story coz of the career.
Nah im enjoying making this story so i wont be stopping any time soon. Im planning to play out a career rather then just a year or atlesed until im good enough to play for Australia but that's a long way off. It takes a bit of time to sort out updates especially in bowling because i have to type it all up whatever else. It's just time i dont have alot of at the moment but i will in 2 weeks.
You've just ruined the whole feel of the thread by doing that! Post helpful advice please. Short Leg is going out of his way to entertain us! So show some respect.
Look, I can say that because thats my opinion. Got it? I wouldn't bother posting in this thread if I didn't like it. And look at those stats. Do they look like he can play for Australia?
It's yet another aspect of his story that makes it realistic. He hasn't just created a superstar, instead tried to make him a realistic (within reason) representation of himself.
I agree that it's been a great story Short_Leg. A lot of effort, and a good read. Also good luck with your exams.
Not the first time Gilchrist that you have taken a rudish tone in a post, if you've got nothing nice to post, post nothing
nah im on gilchrists side on this one. he has every right to voice his opinion. there wasnt any aggression shown in the post. he just posted his feelings on how good slats is. while i dont agree with his opinion. he is very well allowed to have it.
Puddleduck hit the nail on the head there. I wasn't trying to make myself the next Ricky Ponting in the game so i could atleased make it realistic and not make a ton every time i batted. I didn't think i was going to badly for only playing 3 first class games. Anyway i will try to get some updates posted hopefully tomorrow but right now i have a 1000 word short story to write. Cheers

Some bad news for the Victorians who are on top and require just 5 wickets to win this match against a red hot Tasmanian Tigers side. Rain was expected today and it has taken just 25 minutes for the down poor to force the players from the field.
With most of the first session kept in the dressing rooms the umpires have decided to take lunch. Thankfully the rain has stopped and play is set to get underway as per usual for the second session at 1:40pm local time.
