Well it probably just allows the public to have an idea of what's happening. No real point but is considered strange because most things are documented on the internet these days.

Hmm, I don't know if the BCCI could really use a website. I think they have a website through DD, it was something like ddcricket.com or something. Don't remember properly. Besides, if they had a website, it would just be an out-of-date resource for gossip mongering!

CCI 245 all out.

Blackwell 3-54
Panesar, Hoggard and Harmison a wicket each, 3 runouts!

Looks like Blackwell will get selected for the tests now. Now England should tryand bat for most of the game.

Panesar bowled out Redkar! YEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Come on Monty, Come on Monty!

Yeah I agree beefy.
I thought Panasar shouldn't get into the team due to his batting but if he can bowl as well as he did today then he wouldn't need to bat.

Blackwell bagged four, but Panesar bowled really well for his first game representing England. It'll be really interesting to see which one of those England pick for the first test.

I hope England get beaten soundly in the test matches that follow!

India certainly have the ability to do it! England need time adjusting to the conditions also once our spin twins get going, England can find it a lot difficult!

Its not easy thrashing them but it is possible!
It can even be the spin trio: Harbajan-Kumble-Kartik
But most probabily 2 spinners & 2 pacers.

My lineup for the test would be:
G.Gambhir
V.Sehwag
V.V.S.Laxman
R.Dravid
S.Tendulkar
Y.Singh
M.S.Dhoni
I.Pathan
R.P.Singh/Agarkar/Sreesanth
H.Singh
A.Kumble

I think Yuvraj is not going to play the first match. In that case, we should play an extra bowler, probably a pace bowler. Unless VRV and Munaf perfom exceptionally well in the warm up game, India's line up, if Yuvraj is injured should be:
G.Gambhir
V.Sehwag
R.Dravid
S.Tendulkar
V.V.S.Laxman
M.S.Dhoni
I.Pathan
Agarkar
Zaheer Khan
H.Singh
A.Kumble

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! Take Zaheer Khan and Agarkar out and replace with Sreesanth and RP. thank u

Where has Ganguly dropped out? I think he is surely going to get a test recall--? I would also play Dravid at 3 and Laxman at 5.

Good team! I think Sreesanth will play because we need variety with the bowling having a left and right armer.

Since a green wicket is expected in Nagpur, I think India might field three seamers and only one spinner. Kumble might be the lone spinner to play. Irfan, Sreesanth and RP Singh might play!

Yes! And with Yuvraj's injury, Ganguly most probably will play the first test against England!

Blackwell or Panesar?

Is Blackwell a real specialist spinner or a little bit more than a part-timer?
I would like to see England play Panesar because England do need a regular specialist spinner.
Will be nice to see a couple of centuries from English batsmen today against CCI XI. I want England to play hard like the Aussies did in 2001.

Time to let Laxman go and bring the future prospect Kaif in. Don't see much of a future for Laxman. Sehwag shouldn't open, we need to groom Akash Chopra, Gambhir, or Jaffer as specialist openers. Would like to see a couple of new pacers out of RP Singh, VRV Singh, Munaf Patel, and Sreesanth. Agarkar is OK for ODI's, Zaheer needs to be talked to BigTime. Does Zaheer want to be India's Strike Bowler? He needs to change a few things.
Last but not least, what about Ganguly?
