thats it people. Pakistan have beaten the mighty English by a little margin of 165. I wonder if it is their worst ever defeat margin. Can anyone confirm.

What a whooping :D:D I guess thats another two series India will be winning...

Arafat did decently. Intresting thing though, would he prefer to play for Scotland or Pakistan next time the two teams meet? How about in the WC? :p

Also, I feel its time for a change in professions for Plunkett. He'd do better as a bat. :p

This equals the England worst defeat in ODI

Oh well, you can always top it next match :D

Obviously, the next time Scotland play Pakistan Arafat would not be able to play for Scotland.

What a display of calculated power hitting by Pakistan especially razzaq. I have always said that Razzaq is the best hitter in last ten overs. His ability to hit consistently in last 10 is unmatched. No one can do it better. Flintoff is a better allrounder at test level but Razzaq is as good an allrounder if not better at ODIs IMO.
Anyways great show by Pakistan. Way to go Boys

Razzaq better than Flintoff? Are you having a laugh?! He's a decent enough allrounder but better than Flintoff in ODI's? No, just no!

And yes Sureshot, Bell should be in. I had him down in place of Strauss when it looked like he wasn't coming back. Solanki play's the super sub role really well but doesn't seem to perform when he get's the chance in the starting XI.

What is Pakistan don't select him in the starting 12? I think they would be able to let him off to play for Scotland, would they?

Ahh...thats why. It would have been interesting though :(
Yasir Arafat only played for Scotland as an overseas player, they are allowed two when playing in English domestic cricket. If the next Scotland v Pakistan game was a friendly match, then Arafat could technically have played for Scotland, but the next Scotland v Pakistan match is a full ODI, in June.

England suffering a bit in the bowling department, perhaps? I mean, Shoaib Malik is no specialist offie, but he certainly has a golden arm. At best Blackwell can be expected to tie down an end (what is it about the English selectors and boring spinners?). Obviously England were somewhat disorganised though, several changes in the batting lineup put them outside their comfort zone as a team. That said, good, organised batting orders fail to chase 350.

Because we don't have exciting spinners, only ones would be considered exciting are Brown and Keedy, and neither will get picked anytime soon.

I think we are missing Jones a lot as he is more of a pitch up bowler.

Embarrasing defeat this. I know ODIs are not of much importance, but still losing by that big a margin is always going to hurt. I just hope we can get a full strength squad to play in India, otherwise we might have to face the same fate.

WOW!!! Pakistan just destroyed England team. Great knock by Kamran Akmal, that was his 2nd century of the series and good hitting in the end by Inzi bhai and Razzaq. There is no way England can win this ODI series.
