I disagree. On a damp/wet wicket, I feel even three runs per over will be difficult to maintain. As it is proven, there is no remorse for the batsman. All the Indians have to do is bowl on a length and let the pitch do all the talking.

It should be a cracker of a match. My predicition is that Powar will rip through England's batting order.

Rahul Dravid Pitch Map

This pitch map shows selected played and missed balls in red and selected boundary shots in yellow. As you can see, the England bowlers troubled the Indian captain when bowling full outside the line of off stump. As soon as they strayed onto the stumps Dravid was able to work the ball legside and away for four. India will need to take note of this when trying to defend their score of 138 from 35 overs.

Meh you dont have to be so picky Treva, I forgot :p

BKB1991 added 4 Minutes and 38 Seconds later...

Wait you just edited that last pic didnt you? Cuz I swear I saw Yuvraj's face before?

Ganguly was really troubled by the England bowlers. Same was the case with Dravid but Dravid was still able to make 44 of 74 balls. Dravid should have at least played attacking cricket in the end of Indian innings but maybe he was thinking that Dhoni or Yuvraj will play big strokes but Yuvraj got out cheaply and Dhoni played fine but not too attacking cricket. I still believe that India have a chance to win this match. The pitch is really good for bowlers.

Nice update Treva.

I save writing for the match reports. None of this crappy commentating as if the events have just happened ;)

Well it wouldn't really make sense in present tense, but you are still commentating on the things as you post them. Best way is to sum it up like a proper journalist, in one report at the end. My way is far superior :p

A Christmas Surprise for you all. Merry Christmas everyone :)

England should win this match easily now. Shah and Collingwood will remain not out till the end of the match I guess.

Good to see you updating this story, Trev. :)

A nice xmas present :D Good to see more and more quality stories in action, hopefully you have it in mind to continue with this?
I think England will crumble a bit and we will have a tight finish with some of the tailenders just getting England home...

I hope so, but foolishly I left the disc at uni so cannot update it like I had hoped over this christmas break. I definitely want to wrap this series up, which would mean one more ODI after this.
