England National football team thread

The FA's like a civil court, where decision is based on "balance of probabilities" rather than the criminal court where Terry was cleared in which case he could only be guilty if the verdict was "beyond reasonable doubt".

Good on the FA, hope that racist, scummy chav gets what he deserves.

It's why Suarez was never prosecuted in court but was found guilty by the FA. The same should happen to Terry.

There's a difference between a criminal court and a civil court. Do some reading.

Well ha i'll admit i'm not au fait with court rules stuff etc, but if it goes down this road, it would have been quite a messy end to the careers of Ferdinand and Terry.

England team looking a bit messy now.

Interesting 3-1 win for Team GB.

No offense to any Wales folks on this site. But i've always wished if historically if Wales people didn't feel such a need to have a separate football team and it was like cricket and they just joined up with England.

If Allen, Bale, Ramsey were part of England's future and Bellamy and Giggs had been part of England's past - that would be and would have been great.

Anyway big game vs Uruguay. That's the test these young players need.

I'm getting bored of commentators saying Sordell "offers something different" or "is working hard" etc... He's absolute dross. Even completely unfit, Sturridge is in a different class to him. Really needs to stop being so greedy though.

Anyway, good that Pearce realised Giggs can't last much more than 70mins. Also hopefully people are starting to realise that Allen is the sort of midfielder who has the technical ability to keep possession and link up entire teams.

Bellamy has been comfortably the stand out performer. Though Cleverley is excellent on the ball and has some good thrust to him.

Caulker again looked solid as, whilst Tomkins was caught out again after looking massively outclassed against Brazil.

Ye Ha, don't know where Sordell came from. Looks horribly average. Northern Ireland's David Healy would have been a good striker for team GB, if the NI people along with the Scots weren't so skeptical about team GB.

True on Allen. For the next decade i can already see my self cursing and wishing that Allen, Bale and Ramsey had been English, as they star in the premier league and Wales continues to under-perform on the world stage.:p

Would have been nice to see team GB in semi-final Olympic clash versus Brazil.

But once again the penalty shoot-out curse again comes to the rescue. :facepalm *SIGHS*

We were so outplayed massively, penalties would have been lucky.
