We were so outplayed massively, penalties would have been lucky.

Yea. Think Daniel Sturridge has made a strong case for him to be and England regular for sure. Unfortunately though, i'm not sure what going to happen with his Chelsea career.

Going forward also, i think Micah Richards should be tried at center-back a bit more often. He has natural pace, which in an era of slow positional defenders is quite unique.

Caulker was faultless throughout and had an awesome season at Swansea. I really hope he gets used at Spurs this year.

Yea liked the look of him. For England's sake would like to see a Dawson/Caulker defensive partnership for Spurs, but given they bought Vertongen and big strong Kaboul around, i fear Caulker may be another "loaned off" English talent to another club.

I think the actual truth might be that Dawson's injury proneness is potentially going to hinder him. Also Vertonghen will need time to settle in and with *sigh* Europa League we'll have a lot of games to play. Caulker is basicaly replacing William "I end up limping in every game" Gallas

Also might see Jan playing at left-back quite a lot. We'll be a lot stronger defensively if Benny is ditched. He had a good year stretching over the end of two seasons ago and beginning of the last season, but in reality is a liability even if I like them

Well we all know that the Fifa rankings are nonsense. 3rd best team in the world? Yeah, right!

Uruguay shouldn't be third - there are plenty of teams out there better than them - just as there are plenty better than England!

Honestly if England are building for the future, Lampard really shouldn't be involved nor Defoe.

But otherwise fair squad, since Welbeck and Jones are injured.

Hopefully Rodwell can stay fit also, along with Wilshire and Cleverley - he will be a key young mid-fielder en route to the 2014 world cup.
