Not much issue with the England's performance. I reckon most level ahead fans weren't too carried away with the win in Moldova so some of the old issues that were exposed by Ukraine is well known already.
Think Hodgson should give up on his love affair with Oxlade-Chamberlain. People like to berate Walcott and Lennon just having pace and no consistent end product - but Ox in all the senior games he has played has looked worse to me.
Been arguing it for years, but again we really need to stop playing Johnson at right-back and the Milner/Johnson combo down the right side.
Won't be too harsh on Cleverley. Football is such a fickle game, if he had taken those chances we would have been praising him. His movement is the role is good and he got himself into the positions at least. So i won't write of his chances of being a long term # 10 for club and country.
As Glenn Hoddle, Shearer and Wright were complaining also in the post match our center backs just dont have the technical ability to run forward with the ball. They always seem so nervous and pass sideways.
In a perfect world Ferdinand/Cahill would be the best central defensive partnership who could do that.
Still think Carrick should be a more permanent starter and Defoe when Rooney returns has certainly done enough to be a permanent starter.

Yep, just hoping for Hodgson to try eventually in upcoming friendlies and WCQs.

Love it. Gerrard at trequartista's something I've been dying to see for ages - be it in England or Liverpool colors!
