Kent are looking for a new batsmen with the departure of Fulton and have won 7 from 10 F.C and 10 from 10 in One dayers and has risen there pay to ?50,000 and also think you have a lot of talent and think you could be a future captain for the club

I have had a discussion and surrey do not want you anymore. Sorry

yes now the dynamic duo of McPinch and Payne can continue demolishing sides playing for Kent and England and hopefully have the same chemistry as Warne and Gilly

Marc Nicholas: Hello and welcome to the return of cricket coverage on Channel 4. The last time we aired International Cricket it was the scene of England's glorious Ashes triumph, and they have gone on to retain the little Urn since.

This isn't the Ashes though; Sri Lanka are the touring side for this completley new England side, and they will be the first oppostition that England will face under their new manager, Matthew Roberts.

England captain Usy Gee has already stated that he wants a winning start under Matthew Roberts, so let's waste no time and get news on the pitch and the toss. Over to our newest member of teh Channel 4 team, legendary England wicket-keeper, Geraint Jones.

Geraint Jones: Thanks Mark. Well, Sri Lankan captain Mahela Jayawardene has won the toss here at Lords and he has chosen to bat first. The pitch is a typical Lords pitch; Full of runs but a lot of encouragment for the bowlers. There are patches of green scattered around teh good length areas and there are little cracks just starting to develop, so maybe Drew Davie can exploit them later in the game. One other thing the pitch is rock hard, so debutant Lee Payne should get some bounce off the deck. Back to you Mark.

Mark Nicholas: Thanks Geraint. Well we are just about ready for the start of play here at Lords, join us after this short break.
