Mike Haysman: A beautiful spell of bowling from England spinner Drew Davie has resulted in the wicket of the dangerous looking Upul Tharanga. In another fiery spell from Lee Payne at the other end, Tharanga was close to retiring hurt after being hit on the shoulder, but he played on and was out shortly after.
Geoffrey Boycott: It was just lovely cricket by the young lad; Tharanga wanted to attack him, so Davie gave the ball some flight, it turned off the pitch and Tharanga edged behind to the wicket keeper Ahmad, who took an impressive catch.
Mark Nicholas: The contest is pretty evenly balanced as the teams take lunch, but that late wicket from Davie will give the England players a confidence boost. Join us after the break, where we will be just about ready for the afternoon session.
Geraint Jones: Jayawardene's brilliant innings has come to end, as he was bowled neck and crop by a brilliant delivery from Zohaib Ahmed.
Dean Jones: It was a fine piece of bowling from Ahmed; He really used the Lords slope to his advantage. SInce he came back into the attack he has made Jayawardene jump about, and it's resulted in the loss of his wicket.
Mike Haysman: What a delivery from the England captain; Samaraweera was comprehensivley bowled by a beauty of an outswinger. Samaraweera had played beautifully well for his 58 but in the end, Usy was too good for him.
Geoffrey Boycott: It was a corker of a delivery; No batsman in world cricket could have played that one. Fred Truemen would have said, "That were wasted on thee, lad!"
Michael Slater: England's inspirational all-rounder Jack Teague came back into the attack, and was quick to join in with the wickets. Teague found his rythm straight away, and Michael Vandort was back in the pavillion.
Mark Nicholas: Well it was Teague's quick delievery which got the edge, but credit should also go to Fred Fan, who took an outstanding catch diving away to his left.
