England Vs Sri Lanka: 3 Test Series

The ECB have today announced the schedule for the upcoming Test series between England and Sri Lanka:

In an interview with new coach Matthew Roberts, he says that Sri Lanka are not to be underestimated, and England should expect a stiff challenge but should head into the series as favourites.

After being named as Vice Captain for the Twenty20 England squad, there have been claims in the media that FreddieFan is viewed primarily as a one-day player, something he denies. "We've got a strong squad and there's a lot of competition for places, but I feel I've got as much chance as anyone to make the Test Squad" he told our reporter earlier today. "I'm sure I'll be given a chance in the series against Sri Lanka and it's up to me to make sure I hold that place when it comes, and score enough runs so they can't drop me."

The first test of the Series starts in the 11th May.
