England Tour Of Bangladesh 2010

Oh dear, I just remebered Cook is captaining both the Test and ODI side. This is not good news, looks like Captain Slow and Keisy to open the Innings in the ODI form!

some guy wrote "Bangladesh will in all the matches" and Ollie deleted it. :laugh why? scared Ollie? :p

LOL but hey! you replied back with some sarcasm comment to him

i demand that guy to post here again! or undelete that post. it could be the luckly thing for us :p

If you look at my account profile under recent visitors. I think he was asianinvasian. He might post again but then I saw this: Posts Per Day: 0.02

I welcome him back as well. He seems the type to make random comments. I like that.

Doubt it. I don't see Kieswetter playing until the end of the series, if at all. I imagine we'll go into the first game with:

Alastair Cook *
Jonathan Trott
Kevin Pietersen
Paul Collingwood
Eoin Morgan
Matt Prior +
Luke Wright
Tim Bresnan
Stuart Broad
Graeme Swann
Ajmal Shahzad (if Sidebottom's injured)

Doesn't look great. Don't see Cook and Trott getting us off to a flying start some how.

We didn't steal Keiswetter he refused to go back to South Africa and we will pick the best players available in our talent pool.

In reference to the deleted comment, 2 reasons:
1) The comment made little to no sense.
2) It was just spam.

"Bangladesh will win all the matches" translation: England will lose all the matches... :D

hmm make sense to me... ;)

Spam + Text Speak = Deletion. Now back on topic. If you want to take this further drop me a PM.

I don't think it was spam. Might have been in a hurry. But yea we have gone off track a bit. But about keiswetter, I hope he gets a game. He looks like a real exciting talent.

If Kieswetter makes runs in the warm-up game, then he has to play. Even England aren't stupid enough to leave him out over Prior, who's hardly made a run in ODI's.

I don't see the point in Bresnan being in the side. He averages 42 with the ball and England have a long batting line-up anyway.
I would choose Sidebottom for now, but we need another fast bowler from somewhere.

If the pitch spins, then I would choose Tredwell over Sidebottom.

My side:

Craig Kieswetter (wk)
Alastair Cook (c)
Jonathan Trott
Kevin Pietersen
Paul Collingwood
Eoin Morgan
Luke Wright
Stuart Broad
Greame Swann
Ajmal Shahzad
Ryan Sidebottom (or Tredwell if the pitch turns)

Was not too impressed with Shazad last night but obviously have not seen enough to make a judgment call.

Hoping to see him in the ODIs, hope I dont see him in the Test.

A century for Kieswetter, 143 off 121 balls. At least we'll have someone to take advantage of the powerplays on Sunday then.

I just really hope he does well at international level. It's very well to do well in the warm-up matches but it's keeping that form going and not being exposed at the top level. And even if he does do well, the real test will come when he comes against higher ranked teams. But an encouraging start nonetheless.
