England tour of India (5 Tests)

I do hope Dharamsala is the last we see of Rohit, the Test captain!

Bowling changes didn't seeme effective at all during Root's deep-rooted stay with Foakes. Anyhow, 25 more runs and I'd expect England would start teeing off here.

Kuldeep has been terribly underused.

It seemed like, after those few that kept low in the first session, they were just waiting for the pitch to bring them wickets.

That does track with how India have approached cricket in general over the last year. Just wait for things to fall in line instead of going out for it.

Rohit is off the field. I can see Paddikkal, who has come on for the Indian captain.

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT.

England seem to be playing proper old-fashioned cricket after a long time, here. Grinding it out. Root too, seems to have fared very well in tis scenario.
