Did the players have any practice at all before this tour? Gill says that everyone looked very rusty since they havent played much after the IPL ended. Did they go in with the assumption that IPL game time that ended more than a month back, was enough?

Anyways its ok and this is a learning curve for this team. And I am not going to touch on VVS Laxman much as he is doing stop gap coaching here before the new coach (likely Gambhir?) takes over. This is an interim series and a lot of these players will get good exposure and thats how to see this tour/series.
