England tour of India (5 Tests)

If this had been a 3-Test series, Root would have had a stinker.
This is where the structural advantage for Big 3 players comes in. No other team's players get 5 Tests to gain form over time.

There’s an equal, if not more chance of a player losing form over a longer series owing to the opposition getting used to them or fatigue. One of the biggest criticisms I’ve seen levied at Kane Williamson’s record is that he benefits from this.

So it actually took a stick from English media for England and more so Joe Root to play traditional red ball cricket.

Nice.

When did Robinson become so bad?

After that away Ashes tour.

Thats how most of the English cricketer becomes bad lol.

:D

At least he was effective then despite his pace, or lack thereof.

He’s being beaten for pace by a bloke who’s a decade older than him and his accuracy has gone down the drain. Can’t believe I was advocating for his inclusion over the fine wine that is Jimmy.

Those cracks are already looking deadly.

England have got decent enough runs on the board I think.

They just need to put more pressure on that inexperience middle overs and get a sizabale lead to make India bat on the 4th innings.

anything more than 150+ to chase will be very tough.
