Story England's Internationals - England v WI - England win series 2-0

England should score as many runs as possible in the next 15-20 overs and then declare. It will be great if they pick up couple of West Indian wickets today . Story and Presentation are truely awesome. Great work Phil.

Windies are in deep trouble.. becos they do have a great ability of collapsing down even within two sessions too :p Pressure on Lara is huge now.. Fantastic work as always Phil :clap

Collingwood reaches his 2nd 50 of the match

Paul Collingwood repeated his first innings feat of getting to 50 at Old Trafford. It came from 59 balls, and included 9 fours and 1 six, with three of those fours coming after tea. He needed to look to build more runs quickly with Michael Vaughan, with England on 190/3, and having a lead of 357 runs.

Vaughan gets out in unfortunate circumstances

Unlike Paul Collingwood, Michael Vaughan could not match his first innings performance as he inside edged a Dave Mohammed leg break on to his stumps. He was dismissed for 42 from 66 balls, with 6 fours. England's 4th wicket partnership fell just 3 short of a 100 partnership. England were 196/4, with Andrew Flintoff new at the crease, and an intent to attack!

Collingwood survives LBW appeal

Paul Collingwood survived an LBW appeal from Dwayne Bravo, it looked a very close shout, with Collingwood only perhaps being saved by the height. Collingwood stayed there unbeaten with England continuing to put on the runs.

Collingwood goes as he and Flintoff had started to motor

Paul Collingwood was dismissed for a superb 65 at Old Trafford, as England continued to build their lead. He hit 65 from 73 balls, with 12 fours and 1 six before mistiming a Dwayne Bravo delivery to Brian Lara at cover. At the other end, Flintoff had attacked from the beginning, making his way to 18 from 10, hitting 2 sixes against the spin of Dave Mohammed. England were 227/5, with a lead of 394. Chris Read was the new man in at number 7.

Day 4 4:36PM

England 601/7 (Vaughan 152, Edwards 4-99)

West Indies 434 (Lara 111, Harmison 5-115)

England 227/5 (Collingwood 65, Taylor 2-50) (42 Overs)

Flintoff 18 (10)
Read 0 (4)

England lead by 394 Runs

England should really be declaring about now, 394 is a big enough lead, want to leave time in the day to bowl them out, a nice bowl at them before the end of the day would be worthwhile. lead of 400 then declare.

Another good update Phil, KUTGW.

Yep do what Dan said. You would want at least half hours worth of bowling so you have the best chance to snatch a win.

Nice innings by Collingwood. England have enough lead now but i think they should play for 30 more minutes and score as many as they can . Nice presentation and nice animation as well. :cheers

Read is dismissed as England try to rocket the run rate

Chris Read was dismissed for another low score at Old Trafford, as he advanced down the wicket to Dave Mohammed but was comprehensively stumped by Denesh Ramdin. He went for 8 from 9 balls, having hit a single 4. England were 256/6, with a lead of 423 runs and Stuart Broad new at the crease. England decided not to declare at the fall of the wicket but everyone knew that it wouldn't be too far away.

England set the West Indies 428 to win

England declared on 260/6 at Old Trafford, setting the West Indies a victory target of 428 in the third test. They declared at 4:55PM, leaving time to have a go at the West Indies' top order. Andrew Flintoff finished on 43 not out from 24 balls, hitting four 4's and three 6's. Paul Collingwood top scored with 65 for England, while Jerome Taylor and Dave Mohammed took 2 wickets for the West Indies, with Fidel Edwards and Dwayne Bravo getting one each.

Day 4 - 5:09 PM

England 601/7dec (Vaughan 152, Edwards 4-99)

West Indies 434 (Lara 111, Harmison 5-115)
England 260/6dec (Collingwood 65, Taylor 2-50)

West Indies 0/0

Ganga 0 (0)
Gayle 0 (0)

West Indies need 428 to win

England need 10 wickets to win

A good enough lead i feel, need a couple of quick wickets. A very consistent performance from England, with everyone apart from Read hitting double figures. Come on England !!.

Nice update Phil, this story is coming along nicely :D

Ooh. This will go down to the wire. Will West Indies do there usual collapse or will they stand strong. Should be marvellous viewing :D

428 will be very difficult to chase . Still 1 hour left in the days play, I think that England will pick couple of wickets today .
