It shd be Steve Waugh! A great player and my fav player!

Since it's first 5, I'll answer...Waugh? Maybe it's Punter, but I'll go with Waugh as I think Punter has more tons. Or what about Allan Border...hmm...did he score a double ton?

Monty strikes before tea

After the fall of 3 quick wickets Australia kept the flow of the runs going on as Hayden and Hussey the two left-handed batsmen were scoring at a good rate . Hayden was playing well and moved in the 80's as he is eyeing his century now after he survived the caught behind on 0. Hussey started his innings nicely and was positive in his footwork and shot selection . Hussey was looking well set and Collingwood who was brought in to bowl his medium pace was going for runs. Australia reached 200 runs in 52 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.

But Monty Panesar was there to change things for England . Just before the tea session Monty took the important wicket of Hussey and now things are not looking good for Australia as they have lost 4 wickets in 2 sessions of the first day of the 1st test match . Monty was bowling well from the start of the innings and now he got his perfect reward by dismissing Hussey . He bowled one just short of the length and Hussey tried to glance it managing to get some bat on it but the ball went of to hit the stumps . Hussey was bowled around the legs which was not a good sight if you are an Aussie fan but Monty Panesar enjoyed his 1st wicket of the Ashes.

The next batsman for Australia was M.Clarke. Clarke has a good average in test matches and is a very useful player for Australia in the middle order. He has the potential to bat for long time and get the scoreboard ticking along nicely. With Hayden still batting at the other end Clarke will be looking to get a big partnership .
M.Clarke takes gaurd

Australia : 212/4 ( 57 overs)

M.Hayden: 84* (164) 10 Fours
M.Clarke: 5* (9) 1 Four

M.Panesar : 11-1-26-1
M.Hoggard : 12-1-40-1
A.Flintoff : 19-1-85-1

Great wicket for Monty to dismiss Hussey, we need the wicket of Hayden quickly though as he looks dangerous of getting a huge score.

Absolutely brilliant update gamer. Monty you're a legend. 1st wicket of many on this tour i think. GO MONTY GO

Hayden is looking comfortable and settled! So Aussies still in comfortable position...
