Congrats on reaching 3,000 posts mate

England have their tails up at the moment, and with Pietersen, Colli and Freddie all to come in plus Vaughan, they can really post a big total.

Once again mate your graphics are beautiful. I love this story :D

Brilliant batting by England. Vaughan really showed just how good he is. England will be looking to make 500+ now, if they don't then they will be very disappointed. Great work Gamer :)

So, finally England is playing some dominating innings now. Brilliant knock from Vaughan... Its always wonderful to watch his steady gameplay even in real life.. Fantastic presentation as always :)

Loving the presentation and I can't wait until the next one. Lets hope England can get 500 and put the Aussies under some pressure.

England on top as Vaughan leads from the front

On an good start to another day of Test cricket, England had another good session of the ongoing Ashes Test match at Adelaide Oval. Continuing with the overnight score of 319/3, England batted brilliantly today and made full use of the batting conditions. Runs are coming easily for England with skipper M.Vaughan playing a classy innings which is really fantastic to watch which includes all the shots from the textbook. Vaughan's brilliant batting display was well supported by the inform batsman Kevin Pietersen who has already started to play aggressively and putting even more pressure on this Aussie side. Lets take a detailed look about the 1st session of day 2 of the 2nd Ashes test match.

It was a nightmare for the Australian bowlers on day 1 after England dominated all the 3 session. There were hardly any moments which Australia enjoyed apart from those 3 wickets. Vaughan was still batting after scoring a century and was joined by the night-watchman M.Hoggard who negotiated 3 balls yesterday but now he will have to see off this new ball. Just as everyone expected Australia were looking to attack from the start and pick quick wickets to crawl back in the match as this pitch is still very good for batting and with a strong batting lineup still to follow England will be looking to score over 500. Glen McGrath did the job for his captain as he dismissed the night-watchman M.Hoggard early in this session. Hoggard was very solid in his defense but McGrath managed to find a thickish outside edge of his bat and Hayden took a magnificent catch diving to his right adding to the collection of spectacular catches of the series. Hoggard didn't trouble the scorers but that brought the inform Kevin Pietersen but this time he had to face the new ball straight-away.

KP v/s Warne
Pietersen was batting slowly in the start trying to see off this new ball and trying to gain some confidence. He hardly offered any shot to the ball which was pitched outside the offstump even where there was vacant offside area to score runs. The only problem for Australia was that if England managed to see off this new ball in this session then it will be difficult to get wickets on this good batting pitch. Warne was brought back in the attack and was attacking Pietersen with closing fielders. Warne was mixing his deliveries nicely which made things really difficult for KP as he was beaten several times with the leg spinning deliveries. There was a little battle going on between Pietersen and Warne as Warne was consistently pitch the ball in the right areas and Pietersen was hardly managing to get some bat on ball. Warne was bowling a tight and consistent line but not for long as Pietersen changed gears and started smashing Warne to all parts of the ground. Pietersen was trying to unsettle Warne with his rhythm and started to play some aggressive shots on both the off and the legside. Whenever Warne bowled a good length ball, Pietersen slogged that away all the time and was finding the boundaries with ease. This completely disturbed the bowling rhythm of Warne and then he was bit wayward in his line and Pietersen tried to make it worse after he came advancing down the pitch to smashed Warne straight over long on for a massive six.

Vaughan continues his brilliant batting
But it was not over yet as England skipper M.Vaughan continued his brilliant batting and was much more confident in his shot selection than yesterday. Its seemed that Australian captain Ricky Ponting was under pressure as from one end Pietersen was attacking Warne and from the other end Vaughan was very solid with his batting. Vaughan was timing his shots to perfection and scoring at a good rate as well after a slow start. The timing, placement, execution and confidence in his shots proved that he was in form with the bat. Soon he reached yet another milestone after he smashed Johnson through the covers for a boundary as he reached 150. Vaughan was leading from the front and Pietersen was giving a good support to him as England are right on top of this match with the score on 394/4 with 4 sessions played. Australia will have to seriously think about picking wickets and stop this run flow or else England will post a huge total which might be difficult to chase. Yet another session belonged to England with their skipper setting a perfect example to bat against this high quality bowling attack. Vaughan will be looking to score his double century and it will be interesting to see the Pietersen v/s Warne battle after lunch.
150 for Vaughan

England continuing their dominating position.. With still Colly and Freddie yet to come and already score touching the 400 mark, there is something for Aussies to think about the strategies now.. Hope Indians also repeat this in tomrw's match :D

Fantastic presentation as always! :)
