btw Simbazz was online in msn and said that there is a nice present for me and he posted that .....nothing wrong with that ....coz there is also PC story updates where we post other stories short update in our's (its nothing to do with advertising mate)....if u turn a few pages there will will come to know .....also its very nice that members are doing creative things ...also a video of updates coming up soon ....manee is doing it and he does that to perfection ....

Third Man's Chat​

David Gower : Hello again and Welcome to The Third Man's Chat . That was a terrific win for West Indies today as they crushed Zimbabwe to a heavy defeat of 227 runs . Everything was in favour of West Indies today Lara scoring 147 off 126 balls and thats pressty quick with 17 fours and 6 huge sixes and then while bowling Bradshaw , Bravo and Gayle tore the Zimbabwe batting apart by picking up 3 wickets each . With me in the studio are Michael Holding, Nasser Hussain and Michael Atherton. Lets hear from this cricketing experts about their views and opinions about todays match.Well Naseer what do u think about this big win first up for the West Indies .

N. Hussain : That was a big win for West Indies and surely their confidence will be on hig after this win . They bowled well in the whole innings and bowled out Zimbabwe for just 90 runs and Lara batted awesomely for his 147 runs . But the rest of West Indies batting fell apart . batsmen got starts went into double figures but then gave their wickets away . They were tring to go after the bowling right from the start but they should had play sensibly and then the score would had been ever greater. Lara's innings will be the best one in this Champions Trophy . Playing in this terrible conditions and getting 147 quickly is a real achivement. Now he will be looking to play a big knock against Bangladesh as well.

M. Atherton: Well Lara's innings was really a great one will go down in the history books as one of the rapid innings . He was looking quite confident right from the start and was scoring freely without any pressure . He was finding the gaps easily and he succeded everytime he tried for the big one .
Lets take a look at the wagon wheel of B.Lara .........
Runs scored on both sides of the wicket ..particularly strong on the legside .Just take a look that he scored almost 75% of the runs on ine legside. He played the spinners effectively and got 3 sixes on the legside. Truely magnificant batting throughtout the innings .

M. Holding :Lara's batting was magnificant no doubt about it but never to forget West Indies bowling . The bowling card reminds me the bowling of West Indies team in the 70's and 80's . Looks like West Indies bowling has charged up again . Bradshaw , Bravo, Gayle all in the wickets coulumn . Bradshaw was awesome with his controlled line and length and making the batsman's life miserable. Bravo mixed it up nicely and he has a good slower ball and C.Gayle jusr ripped the tail off. Bravo was particularly very effective today got 3 wickets for just 13 runs off his 5 overs .Lets take a look at the pitchmap of Bravo look where he bowled most of the times just on and around that offstump line . And those 3 wickets one was a great yorker really no chance to play that one and then bowled mostly dot balls.

Ian Botham :Good Evening ladies and gentlemen .......we are here for the presentation ceremony of the 2nd match of the qualifying round of the Champions Trophy 2006 between West Indies and Zimbabwe . This was a preety one-sided match again with West Indies dominating with both batting and bowling . 1st of all i will request to call Zimbabwe captain P.Utseya please .

Well Prosper your team didn't perform well and were bowled out cheaply.

P.Utseya: West Indies batted superbly with Lara scoring almost everything and our bowler also gave too many extras we will try to work on that in the next match .

Ian Botham : Nothing went right for you today on a spin friendly track spinner went for runs while medium pacer gave moderate runs .

P.Utseya : Yes the track was spin friendly and ball was spinning to but Lara is a true legend and he just played well and we went for runs .

Ian Botham : Good luck for the next match.Hope you perform well against SriLanka.

P.Utseya :Thanks Ian.



Ian Botham : Now i will like to call the winning captain B.Lara and he is todays Man Of The Match too on stage................Well Brian congrajulations for the big innings you played and also for the team winning in style .

B.Lara :Thanks Ian ....We were sure that we are going to win this one but still batting was difficult on this track .

Ian Botham :Today the bowling was much better than the batting and no one except you got over 50 .

B.Lara :Yes as i said batting was bit difficult and we kept on losing wickets at regular intervals .I wanted someone to stay with me till the end but Bravo and Morton were there for long time and we got 50 partnership each but they were not finding it easy to score


Ian Botham : Also how u managed to score such a huge knock in this terrible heat and humid coditions ???

B.Lara :The conditions were miserable but not that much as the conditions were bit similar as in West Indies and it was as if i was batting in my home town .

Ian Botham :Well Brian Good Luck for the next match .

David Gower :Thanks Ian well it was straight forwad that Brian Lara was going to win the Man Of The Match award for his wonderful knock .
