Kevin Pieterson scores a brilliant century in just 90 balls

England were in some sort of trouble after losing 5 wickets in 30 overs but Kevin Pieterson and Chris Read got a good partnership going and now England are in a good position to post a huge total .Pieterson went on to score a magnificant century and also in just 90 balls and kept the momentum going for England.C.Read is still there and got a good 40 run partnership with Pieterson for the 6th wicket . This partnership has given England a chance to build a good total and now they should dominate on this.

All started after the fall of Collingwood's wicket . Chris Read joined Pieterson in the middle and Indian were on fire after picking up 2 quick wickets.The whole pressure was on the shoulders of Pieterson and Read as Read was the last recognised batsman in the side and Pieterson was in good touch and he is the only man who is scoring quickly and freely in this innings. Read and Pieterson got a good partnership of 40 runs for the 6th wicket and England have also crossed 200 run mark with this partnership and now they have 12 overs to go and they can reach 300 if the get on with this partnership

N.Sidhu :This partnership has really ignited England's hope and now they are back in a good position but just 1 wicket now can the situation of the match ....the match will be in India's favour if a wicket falls here and England will be most affected if they lose Pieterson at this stage.

Pieterson and Read partnership :

With the help of that partnership Kevin Pieterson played some good cricket again and now he went on to score in 1's and 2's and quickly got himself in to the 90's . Then we was getting the odd boundaries in between and also getting the partnership moving . Soon he scored his century with a magnificant Six over covers off the bowling of R.Powar . Pieterson has played brilliantly and has scored his century in just 90 balls and that quick . Also the best part in his innings in that he is getting good partnership with others and also he knows the importance of the teams total .

G.Boycott:Magnificant innings from Kevin Pieterson .He got his century in quick time and also its the most valuable century as playing in Indian conditions is difficult. But this is a good batting track and he has fully utilised it and also he just broke the rythm of Indian bowling attack and also went after the spin of Harbhajan ....Grat knock young man now you have to continue with it and get the score close to 300 .

Still 12 overs to go for England and this is a crucial partnership . Lets see how well can England do from here as M.Patel is back in the attack.
