Good start here by Australia. Why would Bell open and why would Flintoff come in at number 3. Strange tactics here I feel Gamer :D

Bell opened the innings bcoz Cook was not in the side also opening with Collingwood was not wise as he is a good middle order batsman . Also Pietersen came at number 3 as he is in good form and he can help England build the innings and then Flintoff can come and he will try to provide some resistance . Flintoff will come at number 4 and Collingwood at number 5 .

Well in the screenie it says Freddie is coming in at 3. Maybe there is a change of tactics to suprise Australia here.

yeah while the team was posted Freddie was at number 3 but then as England lost their wicket in the very 1st over it was Freddie's tactics to send KP at number 3(mentioned in the update). Updates coming soon but batting is difficult .

England in deep trouble as Strauss departs

All the action and drama continues here in Jaipur where Australia have the upper hand in the match as they got another wicket and now England are struggling with their batting . The conditions here are difficult to bat and Australian bowlers are fully utilizing the oppourtunity.Still Kevin Pietersen is there in the middle so England can hope that then are still in the match but they will have to start build a partnership.

After losing Ian Bell in the very 1st over of the match England were in trouble straightaway as they have just 1 run on the board . That brought Kevin Pietersen to the middle as he was sent up the order as he is in good form and he scored a century in the last match. But the conditons were different from the last match the ball is swinging here. Brett Lee bowled another short ball this time it was outside the offstump and Pietersen went for a square cut . The ball swung away from him and it got the leading edge of the bat but as Pietersen went hard after the ball and due to Brett Lee's pace the ball went past 3rd slip quickly and Shane Watson who was standing at 3rd slip had no time to react to that one. Pietersen had his share of luck but Andrew Strauss was unlucky.Glen McGrath bowled a slower delivery to Strauss which he didnt pick and he went for the cover drive and the ball was in the air but D.Martyn took a good diving catch to dismiss Strauss. Strauss managed to score only 2 runs.

Now England were in real trouble as they lost both the openers inside 4 overs and only had 12 runs on the board. Paul Collingwood came to bat and it was surprising to see him before Flintoff.Andrew Flintoff is ready with his pads even before the fall of 1st wicket but still he is not coming to bat. Looks like Flintoff is trying few tactics as he is waiting for the conditions to become slightly easier for batting and then he will come to score quickly.Collingwood started to middle the ball right from the word go and was rok solid in defense. Pietersen was spending some time in the middle and was getting used to the swing and bounce of this wicket. But time was running away and England were scoring with 3 rpo which was too less. But over number 11 changed things as Brett lee gave away 13 runs in that over and Pietersen and Collingwood scored in boundaries and looked like now the time has came when both batsmen are going to up the tempo. They showed the urgency to score quickly and also went for a quick single in the next over. This were signs of good batting and rotating the strike. Now England should keep the momentum going and there is a change in the bowling as Nathan Bracken comes in the attack.

Preety much like in real life....England losing early wickets....run rate getting affected as a result....and pressure building up.
