com'on Kp :) I dont mind if Aussies get wickets in other end leaving KP alone to hammer the bowlers ;)

Pietersen and Collingwood are fighting back

Now England are back in the game as Pietersen and Paul Collingwood are playing well and have got a 66 runs partnership for the 3rd wicket.Looks like Flintoff's tactics are working fine as it was his decision to send both Pietersen adn Collingwodd at number 3 and 4 respectively.

After losing two quick wickets inside 4 overs England made a solid comeback in the match as they got a good partnership going on and now this will prove to be decisive one as the match is well in balance but still looks like it is in Australia's favour as England are scoring slowly.England started scoring and also luck was favouring them . There were a few chances created but England were on the lucky side. Also Collingwood and Pietersen are quick runner between the wickets so that was putting lots of pressure on the Aussie fielder. Pietersen continued his good form and was scoring more freely and was looking more confident with his shot selection . He went after the bad balls and never really hesitated to score the boundaries. While from the other end Collingwood was rock solid and never gave any chance to the opposition to get his wicket.Collingwood is taking his time but he is also providing good support for Pietersen and sometime he is hitting the odd boundaries.
3rd Wicket Partnership

As England were trying to comeback in the match and it was Australia fault as they allowed them to comeback in the match . Aussies have pretty high standards in the field and tehy hardly give away any extra runs but today as Pietersen and Collingwood were running quickly between the wickets it created some pressure while fielding and it lead to misfields and more runs. Also Pietersen was was timing the ball so nicely that it even went past the diving fielders . Even Adam Gilchrist missed a catch as Pietersen went for a late cut and got the edge but it went in between Gilchrist's legs but it was difficult chance though. Also Shane Watson gave away a boundary when seen in the replay it was clear that his foot was touching the boundary ropes. Australia will have to be more tight in their fielding and should stop this extra runs as this is helping England in scoring few more runs and each run is crucial on this type of wicket.

Meanwhile after Pietersen played the late cut which went for four off the bowling of B.Hogg there was some eye contact between Hogg and Pietersen . For a moment everyone thought that both of them will say few words to each other but nothing of that type they went on staring each other and had anger on their face. Something which we often see in Australia - England match . Lets see how this will shape up in the match as Hogg will try to upset Pietersen but will Pietersen lose his cool and go for the big shot which may cost his wicket.
