We didn't play dirty, we just had a problem with our temper and at least we got sent off for it.

It's as if Arsenal are the main team to target. If these tactics work against us, why not everyone else?

Who says they arent used against other teams? Hell, we lost two goalkeepers in one game last season.:mad

I've seen teams play 'dirtier' than Blackburn did, Wenger was having a bit of a moan due to not winning, that's all.

Yep, spot on. There was nothing 'violent' as Wenger put it about Blackburn, yes they were physical but imo, not over physical. It's well known that being physical against Arsenal helps because, they really don't like it, you can't sit back and let them pass it through you.

So...England v Germany :D

I predict a 5-1 victory, Klose puts Germany a head after a few minutes, Crouch equliases and Beckham scores just before half time to go in 2-1. Crouch scores two more in the second half to complete his hattrick, and Owen rounds off the victory. Or maybe we should bring Heskey back to scare the Germans.

Nah, Germany is going to lose, major injury problems for them. Ballack, Frings, Gomez, Tim Borowski, Klose, Podolski, Schweinsteiger and Jansen... Thats basically a key player or two in each posision for them....

I just said England were gonna win 5-1 :p

Since when has Gerrard done anything major for England apart from scoring the odd goal here and there?

Well he doesn't play like he does for Liverpool I know (otherwise England would probably fair better altogether), but he still is pretty important. He's done more for England than Lampard for the last year or so, was MoM against Brazil, and saved our asses in the Andorra? game.

firstly, accidents

secondly, not the same team

i guess i was overreacting a tad bit but i hate blackburn

The thing about Man Utd's start is we have played very good football, we just haven't had the finishing (or been unlucky, hitting the post and so on). I've just got a feeling that someone is cruising for a bruising from Utd and it could well be Spurs on Sunday. I fully expect us to go on a great winning run and surge up the table!

Arsenal have been great football for a few years now but without any silverware. Getting results is the key, something that United were doing last season. But like I said, its always harder to defend a title than to win it.

True, but Utd have successfully defended the title many times before, so they know how to do it. Last season was a bit of a one-off, you know, we don't usually start that well. We start slowly, but finish really strong usually. Chelskovski have been getting a lot of luck so far, Reading deserved the draw, Birmingham had more than enough chances to win and as for the penalty at Liverpool, enough said!

How you going to cope when you lose Drogba et al to the African Cup of Nations?

Yep absolutely, Gerrard has played well for England and I'm sure would play better if he didn't have to sit back due to fat frank playing. Lampard hasn't done much for England.
