Deschamps is the most probable candidate ATM.

He would like to save the sinking ship from completely sinking, just like a Portsmouth.

Its unlikely Redknapp will come to Anfield. He is interested in the English job, and will be at Hotspurs until the next year or 2. But like Haarithan said, Redknapp might come as he loves challenges and he saved a struggling Hotspurs from getting relegated even though he came in the end and guided Portsmouth greatly.

First half looked promising but we were very scrappy. Maxi and Kuyt were definitely the standouts and have Dagger back over that hack Soto really helped. Except I have no flinging idea what Johnson and Skrtel were doing at that free kick - Absolutely embarrassing defending. But the first half should signs of improvement. We didn't just hoof it long, actually played it from the back and played some nice passes.

The second half was good to watch after the last few weeks. Maxi, Kuyt, Stevie G and Nando all linked up well, and we definitely deserved the three points. Credit to Roy, he improved us from against Wolves then improved us from the first half, though it's fair to see Bolton couldn't press as much as Wolves seeing it was their third game since boxing day. Would of been criminal if we didn't win it.

Roy still has to go.

Roy said that Liverpool deserved to win and then he also said this:

Roy Hodgson said:
I am extra satisfied we got the winning goal but even at 1-1 I wouldn't have been in any way dejected because I think today we put Wednesday's game well and truly behind us.

Was he actually implying if the game had ended in a draw, he will still be happy with it?

On the game, Steven Gerrard's pass to Torres for the goal was absolutely exquisite and the finish was great too. :thumbs

Yeah, he does himself no favours. He also said v Wolves we were unlucky and 0-0 would of been a reasonable result... that's still not a good result though Roy! 0-0 at home against Wolves is still a failure!

Sigh. Hopefully he's not here much longer.

Liverpool offered Borrusia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp the job a few weeks ago but he declined. It's a shame because Dortmund have played brilliant football under him - fast paced, high pressing, all out attacking football.

Ralf Rangnick is the favourite now though. He's been described as the "german wenger". Someone who really likes to develop the youngsters, renowned for it infact, and likes to play attacking football. Would be great to see someone like him in Premiership.

Unbelievable game yesterday - if ever there was a game where we were completely outplayed, yet came away with the three points, that was it. WBA should've had a penalty, but so should we - so that evened out over the course of the match; the referee was pretty awful throughout. Rooney was great and his goal could see him go on a streak now.

Can't believe the result from Stamford Bridge either - it must have been one hell of a game: 3-3! Definitely need to catch the highlights of that one.

If West Bromwich had gotten the penalty in the first half and scored, things might have been different in the second half. And Gary Neville again was very fortunate not to get sent off.

As for the game at the Bridge, just watch the last 10 minutes or so. There was hardly anything interesting before that.

At this rate, Man United should probably worry about the other teams on the title. We played like crap today and it was very frustrating to concede the 3rd goal after Terry's goal. At the least a win will give us 3 points even if the performance was pathetic!

True - Chelsea are currently sliding out of the title race, but this season has been so odd, I wouldn't count anyone out. Any one of the other teams could embark on such a bad run as Chelsea are on - it's going to be fun!
