Spurs have made bids of 42.5m and 30m (euros) for Aguero and Rossi. What the hell is going on lol?

It's going to be a crazy end to this transfer window. Harry should be trying to sign a defender though.

Gallas, Woodgate, Assou-Ekotto, Hutton, Bassong, Corluka, Kaboul. They are enough.

Sorry. I meant to say center backs. Spurs only have 2 center backs available at the moment. Woodgate is still not fit, Kaboul is injured and Dawson is suspended. Therefore leaving them with just Bassong and Gallas.

The transfer window is heating up and getting mad as time passes.

It appears that Liverpool have placed a 30 million bid for Andy Caroll but was rejected by Newcastle. Isn't that a bit too much?

?35m agreed apparently. Jeez that's a ridiculous price for Carroll. SSN saying Torres bid still rejected. So many conflicting sources!

Well if it is true I can't believe they're using virtually all the Torres money for one player, and that too Andy Caroll. I'd be happy for him to prove me wrong but doesn't seem like very astute business.

?35 million for Andy Carroll is way too much especially when he is only 22 this year. Furthermore, the likes of Tevez, Berbatov, Villa and Robinho were bought less than that amount. Liverpool have gone crazy with the spendings!

Just saw reports that Liverpool is looking to buy Charlie Adam from Blackpool who is going to cost them ?14 million. :facepalm

While it is a lot of money being thrown around I am glad that it's happening in a way because the new owners are showing ambition and desire to take the club forward and they realize that they need to improve the squad both in terms of depth and quality.

True but I'm not too sure about the Charlie Adam's deal though. On the other hand, Man United is interested to get him too. It will be an interesting last 4 hours 30 minutes or so in the transfer window.

"1838: While speculation in Spain - and it is just speculation as far as I understand at present - is that Tottenham are closing in on a ?30m deal for Villarreal striker Guiseppe Rossi." (Source: BBC)

I don't really understand why Spurs is buying a striker when their defense is clearly the major problem.

Oh my. :facepalm

With everything that has happened, it's going to be an explosive match next weekend at the Bridge.

I wouldn't believe anything that's being reported about spurs. They've "apparently" made bids for Forlan, Aguero, Llorente and Rossi and all of them have been massive, massive bids. All rubbish, I think.

Harry said Woodgate is going to be rushed back in sooner than expected for central defense so I don't think they'll be buying anyone in that area either.

Who knows? After all, Harry Redknapp is very good at snapping late deals. And rushing back Woodgate would be risky given his injury problems.
