Tomorrow's hugely important - if we manage to lose, then it could all still go south for us.

Ok so we have in football players faking dives that world can see to fool refs & goals be scored that aren't legitimate. WTF is going on with this sport now.

It will be a disgrace if TV replays aren't introduced with earnest next season.

Video technology is already needed regardless of what happened yesterday. We are now talking about this because of another blunder by Gomes. It's just hilarious that both North London clubs have such dodgy goalkeepers. :facepalm

On the game, I think we deserved to win regardless of those controversial goals. Spurs didn't even look like scoring and their goal came absolutely out of nothing when we were dominating the game. We were denied a clear penalty in the second half too.

Furthermore, Bale was kept completely quiet, Lennon was totally non-existent and Van der Vaart was in and out of the game. Only Modric looked dangerous in the game.

WOW! Arsenal actually beat United and comfortably too! :lol

Anyway, it will all come down to next weekend at Old Trafford.

Wont matter . It will still be United's title to lose . Plus Chelsea have got to visit Goodison which is no cakewalk .

True, we have struggled in recent times against Everton but facing Everton in the last game maybe a blessing in disguise as they would have nothing much to play for. So, who knows?

Well after what happened yesterday (its Monday in India now :p) , next week's showdown is gonna be an absolute cracker . Still its United's title to lose , but who knows what Chelsea are capable off ?? They passed a tricky tie at Anfield last year when all United needed was a Liverpool Chelsea draw (Gerrard , I love you for that backpass man :p) , so the question is can they do it against a much better team in United ?? Torres , here's your present . Grab it , and be forgiven by the Anfield faithful , and May GOD bless you then . :p

This could very easily go south for us now - Chelsea are on a roll and we're running out of steam. Thank God it's at Old Trafford and let's hope we get a decent referee, unlike the past four or five league matches vs Chelsea.

We were rubbish yesterday and didn't deserve a thing from the game, well played Arsenal. However, having said all that if we even draw with Chelsea, that should be enough to see us home - I cannot see us dropping three points in the Blackburn and Blackpool games combined - I can see us drawing with Blackburn away, such has been our wretched away form. If Chelsea win at Old Trafford, the title's theirs I think. Either way, if we win the league having such rubbish away form, it would be quite remarkable.

We are 2-0 up against Schalke, who we have the measure of easily, so we should rest players like Rooney and Nani, maybe even one of the two vital defenders. I'd go with Ferdinand and Smalling against Schalke.

All rests on the Chelsea game...

Incidentally, what's wrong with Gomez these days? That's twice he's thrown the ball into his own net in a matter of weeks!! If it wasn't for that, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now - and the ball clearly wasn't over the line.

That might actually come in handy - but the way Chelsea are playing, I don't think we can rely on anyone else - we have to kill the beast ourselves. :D

Lucky for you guys Vidic wasn't sent off for that handball , else he would have very well missed out on the 'match that counts' !

Torres , here's your present . Grab it , and be forgiven by the Anfield faithful , and May GOD bless you then . :p

I seriously hope Torres doesn't start AT Old Trafford this weekend. While he played reasonably well against Spurs after scoring his first goal for us against West Ham, we still don't look comfortable in the 4-4-2 formation with him and Drogba upfront. We tried the 4-3-3 against Spurs with Torres upfront and Drogba in the wide positions but that did not suit him one bit!

Ancelotti needs to go 4-3-3 with Drogba upfront and flanked by Malouda and Kalou. That formation and lineup has been working well for us in recent times and I hope Ancelotti doesn't go and change it this weekend when the stakes are extremely high!

The real deal IMO for Torres begins next season where he will get a proper summer break for the first time since 2007 and without nursing any injuries. Furthermore, with a proper pre-season, we can then try out different styles and things like that on how to fit Torres in. Now it's not the time to be doing that.

Imagine if it's Martin Atkinson! :p

Your home form is the main reason why you're at the top now. It would have been a lot closer had you dropped slightly more points at Old Trafford.

He is a bit like Ben Foster isn't he? Brilliant at times and horrendous at other times. It was also partly his fault that we managed to equalize at White Hart Lane earlier this season.

Anyway, Spurs only have themselves to blame should they fail to get the 4th spot which is looking likely at the moment. It will be ridiculous of them or anyone for that matter to blame it solely on the game at the weekend. They can't expect to qualify for the Champions League every season if they can't even beat the likes of Blackpool, West Brom, West Ham, Wigan and Wolves! :facepalm

Yup, have to agree with that.

By the way, you guys are looking certain to get that Europa League spot at the moment. :p

Now is when we think back to the ridiculous points we dropped at Everton, Fulham and Bolton as well as far as I remember? Also, that clanger dropped by Van der Sar at Old Trafford against WBA - if it wasn't for that, we would've been 100% at Old Trafford! Still, everyone can make a mistake and he's more than made up for it of course. :)

Edit: We have of course, beaten Chelsea twice on the spin - both home and away - albeit in Europe, so that should provide the lads with some confidence ahead of the game.

Are you feeling nervous right now? Your confidence seems to have shaken after the weekend's result. :p

Yea , and I'm not happy with that tbh (:p). I am not a big fan of the Europa League's format , especially those of the group stages are such a burden to the players . But the only positive with this being that the big name players sign up if a club is competing in European competitions . We really have to lure in Eden Hazard and Tremoulinas to Anfield (my perspective :p) . And talks are already on about Blaise Matuidi & Jose Enrique (Board's perspective) . Though it's a bit too early to talk about possible summer transfers . :p

I guess he is .. , won't you , if you were him ?? :p

Half of me will feel that way but with their formidable home form, surely they have to somewhat be confident and furthermore, United don't have to win the game. A draw would be good enough for them with two games remaining.

Damn straight I'm nervous!! As I said before, I'm just grateful it's at Old Trafford. A win will pretty much do it for us - we might slip up against Blackburn away, but Blackpool at home, if we need to win on the last day? Home banker. A draw keeps it slightly interesting for Chelsea - a win wins them the title, that's how I see it - although they do still have to visit Everton. As far as I know there aren't any more really tricky games for Chelsea apart from that one.

I'm nervous because this is almost a carbon copy of last year's situation - only with us top instead of Chelsea. Either way, Fergie would be crackers not to rest many of our top players against Schalke - have some on the bench just in case of course.

Edit: There are rumours that we're going to bid for Shay Given - a few years back, I'd say that was a great idea, but he's 35!! We need a young keeper - Neuer is the man for us.

Edit: Actually, after thinking about it, losing against Chelsea against Sunday will only put them top by goal difference, so if we have to hand out a flogging on the last day to Blackpool in order to win it on goal difference instead of them, I would be quite confident about it happening.
