From what I read, the FA will decide on Thursday whether the Premier League matches will go ahead.

The good news is that past night no major incident happened. It was probably due to the heavy police force and bad weather.

The fixture between Spurs and Everton at White Hart Lane has been postponed. Was looking forward to that game on Saturday but hoping none of the remaining nine will be postponed.

I'm gonna be at St James on Saturday, though judging by how things at Newcastle have been the past few weeks I do wonder if I would be better off saving my money

Well 23 people correctly predicted a Man U title last season, some of them quite possibly after the event.
New poll up for this season with just the big 5 in it.

Cos he's an Everton fan. Good luck to him on that, for it'll be yet another season where his beloved Toffees will be trailing under our dust. ;)

So the Premiership gets started today! Good luck everyone (within limits, of course. ;) You know who you are. :D )

Liverpool probably heard you. They just did what they were limited to. They knew who they were like you said.

Fluid and confident in the first half and the complete opposite in the second. They just reverted to hoofing long balls to Carroll instead of using a plan that worked so effectively in the first half. Disappointing.

Just quoting this as this is exactly what I was going to say haha. They seemed so lethargic in the 2nd half, which I didn't understand. They weren't playing at a high tempo in the 1st half, they were just moving intelligently and picking out gaps.

Joey Barton. Haha.

That was embarrassing to watch as a Newcastle fan. Yes, Song should have been sent off for a stamp on Barton but you just have to move on from those incidents.

Still, we looked solid against, admittedly, a team lacking in real quality; bodes well for most teams we'll play this year. Urgently in need of a top-drawer striker & fast. Cabaye disappointed me but I'm certain he'll improve. Showed signs of promise today.

:lol at Liverpool's result against Sunderland. Suarez's penalty was absolutely awful!

And the Newcastle vs Arsenal game was just poor to watch. Arsenal looked devoid of ideas without Nasri, Fabregas and Wilshere. This is going to be a long long season for them.

Oh, welcome back to the Premier League, QPR! :p

By the way, has anyone seen Cahill's goal against QPR? It was absolutely stunning coming from a defender. Not the first time he has scored goals like that though but still.

Barton was epic. Larsson's goal was absolutely nice and great. QPR were thrashed!:lol

Suarez had a terrible set-piece there. Would have loved to see the Spurs versus Everton clash, but it got postponed.:(
