I normally take the view that sometimes in the heat of the moment on the sporting field, and also in general life things are said that are not meant its just emotions boiling over.

However it's quite obvious this is not the case here,, he should just admit his wrong doings and accept the punishment instead of trying to defend himself when quite clearly he has NO case..

Hope he leaves the prem,, great player but an absolute twat,,

No problem mate. Of course you're right, he should just come out and admit it and Liverpool should also retract that dumb statement of support they made as well - but they won't. Still - they're gonna lose him for eight games so that's punishment enough. As you said, ordinarily sometimes things are just said in the heat of the moment, especially on the sports field, but it's crystal clear that Suarez didn't just 'say' it, he was goading Evra as well, trying to get a reaction.
