I think I'm more than content with a draw. A win would send me absolutely ballistic though. Really hope Gerrard and Bellamy start.

Well, Liverpool can afford a draw at the moment since they are so close on points with Arsenal and Chelsea. Anything we get is a bonus today against City.

Drogba (and Sturridge) do nothing to help the team. They occasionally pop up and score goals but they are massive liabilities defensively and have no interest in linking up in play. Torres is defensively fantastic and he is so much better at getting involved in play.

Looks like Terry is going to sue an Indian Government Agency because they put a fuzzy picture of him on an Anti-Smoking ad. Just when he thought things couldn't get any worse...

And Gerrard isn't starting...

MCFC: Hart; Richards, Kompany, K.Toure, Clichy; Barry, Y.Toure, Milner; Silva, Aguero, Dzeko

LFC: Reina, Johnson, Enrique, Agger, Skrtel, Henderson, Downing, Spearing, Adam, Kuyt, Bellamy Carroll

Balotelli and Nasri unavailable owing to illness.

Edit: Hang on, it's Carroll starting ahead of Bellamy. Just wow!

Horrible result but luckily, like I said, it won't hurt us too much for now. Only 3 points off third. Carroll continues to fail...

Henderson was impressive today, I thought. He's coming into his own now. Time is on his side as well. I think he may have a future at Liverpool. I hope Gerrard comes in for Adam next game. Adam is absolutely useless without the ball and with the ball is barely above average. His set piece delivery has been pretty awful thus far at Liverpool as well.

Calls for United to buy Sneijder in the january transfer window will grow even louder now i reckon.

Also although it may be impossible for January, Cabaye and Tiote are two quality young mid-fielders that SAF should seriously consider buying for next season to back up Cleverley who is the future and a returning fletcher.

Since the likes of Anderson/Gibson are crap and Carrick blows hot and cold.

I'm confused. If all the talk after the game was that Barton had been harshly treated. Hard done by. Etc...

If even Graham Poll said the ref got it wrong, was conned etc... Then how, after the appeal, is it still upheld?

Don't get me wrong, the guy's a spirit level, but how can the process have been so divisive?
