Sat in my car outside the ground drenched!
Very happy with city's performance but not the result, united should be happy with the result, but embarrassed at the performance. Having to hold on when you have an extra man for 80 minutes is poor.

Well, that was fun!

One of the worst red cards I've ever seen - I think Kompany actually won the ball(!), Giggs should've been booked at least for his tackle from behind, we had a clear penalty turned down (it was probably more of a pen. than the first one) and to cap it all, the ref got in the way of the ball right at the end of the game, almost leading to a City winner! In short, the ref. had a right stinker!! I don't think City should've had a penalty - the ball hit Jones' leg and then deflected onto his arm - there wasn't a thing he could've done about it. That was one of the few decisions the ref. got right today, but by God he was awful!

Delighted that we won of course, but I think we went out there for the second half with a much too complacent attitude and never really got out of that, which is why City came so damn close! I think our players had '6-1' on the Etihad scoreboard fluttering around their head instead of focusing on winning the game first and foremost.

Putting Scholesy on in such an important game when he's as rusty as the Titanic was massively risky - he was at fault for City's second goal and gave the ball away too much. If we'd have gone out there with the proper mindset, we could've really made a statement today and had an extremely negative effect on their season. As it was, had I been a City fan (spit) I'd see that as a moral victory. Still, Kompany will be a big miss - but City can appeal that red card, can't they? I'm not too sure - I hope not. :D

And I knew, as soon as Liverpool were drawn at home that No.3 (us) would be drawn against them. Looks like we're going to do it the hard time this year if we do end up winning the Cup. :)

I think Paul Scholes gave the ball away more in the 20 mins he played than in his entire Utd career...

I agree. It was a very risky move - Sir Alex getting a bit sentimental there I think. ;)

Of course, the overall positive besides the fact that we won was Rooney - he was great and Welbeck is coming on leaps and bounds. :)

So Chris Foy hates Spurs and Man City. Interesting.
Great challenge by Kompany if you ask me.

You forgot Chelsea. He has much pretty screwed 3 big teams. Arsenal and Liverpool are next! :p

The writing was on the wall. :p

As for us, well, BRING ON QPR!

Looks like Neil Warnock has been sacked!

Apparently he made more passes in the 30 minutes he was on the pitch than any Man City player in 90minutes.

If Chris Foy isn't forced to sit out a game or two, or drop down a division as punishment then it's taking the urine. In a little over a month he's had three shocking performances. Each of them the same as well, where he has seemingly tried his hardest to dominate the game himself and has ended up making himself the story.

That's only because Utd were making no attempt to score and were just knocking it around in midfield against 10 men.

Did anybody see the draw live?
Was it a random computer draw like the third round was? Seems a little suspect and too easy to get big games if its a "random" computer draw

Nah, I watched it. They drew balls out.

Yeah and it has been that way. Apparently, according to the BBC Live Commentary, the draw rehearsal had Sunderland vs Newcastle but then it came out Sunderland vs Middlesbrough.

The 'live' draws have always been like that, as far as I can remember at least.

Oh and now this....

Liverpool FC's Stewart Downing arrested on suspicion of assault - Liverpool FC News - Liverpool FC - Liverpool Echo

God save us!

^:lol

City nearly came onto win versus United with 10 men. That shows how good United is ATM.
