Terrible start for Hughes today, QPR just never looked like they would score, despite having plenty of shots.

They also looked a lot poorer than they did under Warnock, but lucky for Hughes he has a reported 30 million to bring in players.

Still, after watching him in charge of City, I do feel sorry for QPR fans knowing the type of football they are going to be watching

Who'd have thought we'd hear the 'Paul Scholes, he scores goals' song again - well at least unless it's being sung in reverence to the legend he is, like it is with King Eric. :D

Spurs drew. Liverpool drew. Arsenal lost. We won. Great weekend for us!

It would be Thierry Henry vs Paul Scholes next weekend. :p

Thank you Swansea is all I can say in an otherwise disappointing weekend of PL football (for Liverpool fans lol). Chelsea fans definitely the happiest of the lot with every result going their way. United could join them, if City drop points at(?) Wigan.

If City lose tomorrow, United lose to Arsenal and Tottenham beat City next weekend the Spurs'll be top.

We wont drop points tomorrow, Silva is fit and we have lost 2 in a row, luckily they were both cup games.
Back to the serious stuff in the league, we will be really up for it.

I hope your team is being as complacent. Away from home, you're looking more than a little shaky. :D

Arshavin is a bloody clown, he needs to be sold NOW.

Walcott also needs some time on the bench. He hasn't been very good all season, just looks unsure and lacks the final product as always. He did score, but other than that did pretty much nothing.

Oxlade-Chamberlain needs a start ahead of Walcott or Arshavin, and I really want to see Miyaichi in the Premier League some time.

Walcott has always been dreadful whenever I've seen him play this season. Good goal though, expertly taken.

Walcott has always been overated,,

He is no more than average,, he is to negative for a quick winger, seems to concerned with not giving the ball awawy..

With his pace he shoukl be destroying the full back,, but no, he cuts back and lays it off..

Loses the ball so much. Overrated would be putting it lightly.

He is very unpredictable. His goals are always great, especially the Chelsea one that was something you'd expect from Henry. He still has potential, if he can improve his crossing or shooting, he'll be a decent player. We could sell him for a lot though since he's English. He's a big Liverpool fan, maybe they'd want him.

I'm surprised his 1 v 1 miss hasn'tgone viral on Youtube LOL, truly pathetic.

Very interesting to see all the top sides having a tough time lately. Yet again the January window and the AFCON proves to unsettle teams.

Massive 3 points tonight for city.
United have some huge games coming up, arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool in the next 4 games.
After spurs on Sunday we have 6 games where we will be dominating the opposition, and then we will have Yaya and back in the team, who we really miss.

If we can beat spurs next Sunday we could go onto a big run of winning games like we did at the start of the season.

Really don't know how figueroa didnt get a red card for that handball

An unbelievable bit of play by Aguero - I'm sure you know the bit I mean - he just waltzed through the whole defence - in the goal area!! Somehow didn't score.

Chelsea today were shocking.
Torres really needs to be dropped, Lukaku did more than him in the first 30 seconds he was on the pitch with his run down the right, he looks such a good prospect, and considering he cost ?20 million he should probably get a chance. He cant exactly do worse than Torres.

Also, Liverpool 3-1 down at bolton right now :lol
