Well, I think there's a lot more to his tactics than that. He has instilled the pass & move philosophy once again. He just doesn't have the players, or rather, bought the wrong players to execute that philosophy consistently and more importantly, execute it well enough to score goals using it. I hope he realizes that Suarez as a lone striker cannot work. He is a playmaker. Liverpool needs a clinical finisher in front of him or alongside him.

No manager is allowed to say they don't have the players after spending almost 100m over a year and a half (of which one of their best signings cost nothing).

Yeah they pass and move against most of the Prem, the rest they try and kick off the pitch. Not to mention I really dislike Dalglish now, liked him in his first season back, but now he does nothing but moan about refs and still hasn't come out and said "I was a knob" from the Suarez-Evra affair.

Haha I was about to post that fact involving Liverpool and Adam, but there you go. Sums it all, doesn't it? Such an awful player.

Regarding the FA Cup, I feel we're very well poised to qualify for yet another final now. If we do beat Sunderland, I just hope we get Chelski in the final, considering Dalglish always gets it right against them lol.

On yesterday's match, felt Stoke played an incredibly dirty game of football and were lucky enough to get away with just a 2-1 loss. They're merely a long ball team, aren't they? Also can't believe how Suarez missed that header from four yards in an otherwise excellent game for him.

It appears that Tevez the (pick a work beginning with 'T') :D is back on the City bench for the Chelsea game. If he'd tried any of this with Sir Alex, he would've been kicked to the kerb whatever it took.

Sebastian Coates. Take a bow.

Ah well, I guess top four was always beyond our reach after dropping so many points at home. Next season it is. Still have the FA Cup to look forward to, I guess.

I hope Kenny rages at his players today. Absolutely shocking. The height of complacency.

Chelsea Lost NASRI IS BACK BECAUSE TEVEZ IS BACK

Lampard, Cahill and Drogba are all complete and utter jokes. Lampard and Drogba in the 2nd half handed that game to City on a plate and then Cahill's positioning for that goal.

Well, that was fun. Great game to watch - but City were always going to win it once they'd equalised (what a wonderful substitution by Di Matteo that was - Essien did nothing apart from give away that penalty!).

Don't put anything into Smith's commentary going on about turning points, bouncing back etc. City have been great at home all year - winning this game didn't surprise me. No - home wins mean nothing. Go to Stoke, Norwich, Newcastle, Arsenal and come away with wins then I'll agree with 'turning points and bouncing back'.

Could easily come down to the Derby match - but there are still numerous tough games for City before then. Having said that, if it had been Utd playing tonight at City, I think the result would've been somewhat different. Good news for Chelsea is Torres continues to look to be improving. I thought Drogba was a bit greedy tonight - there were a couple of times where the shot wasn't the best option.

We have Blackburn away - which could be tricky - and Sunderland away as well, but outside of those two I don't see us dropping many points.

Bet any City fans that destroyed their Tevez shirts that day when Utd fans were binning them as well feel like right muppets now. How much does a Tevez printed replica shirt cost - ?40? ?50? You should always hold onto such things and not be given to moments of taking rash action - you never know how much they could fetch on Ebay, or similar sites in the future. ;)

Well done QPR. We were robbed with that offside but we never do well against Arsenal.

it's weird. besides a few hidings, which had reasons behind them rather than simply a gulf in class, we've played well and been unlucky not to beat them more.

Could easily have been 3 down before he offside goal though I guess. We just didn't look like we were bothered until the 2nd half. not looking forward to the rest of the season if we're treating them as dead rubbers though.

The linesmen giving about 4 billion offsides in the 90 minutes was mental though. Not just for the "goal"

Great win today. Looking at the fixtures left I reckon we can finish above you-know-who still.

Two points separating the sides at present.

Most of the country hopes you, Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland all do. Probably the most disliked team amongst all my mates at the moment (even people who are just acquaintances).

King Kenny, absolute joke. They play pretty uninspired football, they spent stupid money, they sacked a manager with no time and have a rather large percentage of fans who have no idea of the reality of their current status. I would love it, love it if Everton finish ahead of them.

I used to like Liverpool.

But now I hope Norwich, yes Norwich, finish above them. Scummers.

They'll still hammer us next weekend.

Gotta win tomorrow away to The Baggies to keep our Europe push going. It's ours to lose now.
