Glad to see Kenny smiling again. I had forgotten what victory felt like.

How good were Big Andy Carroll and Jordan Henderson tonight? Unbelievable game of football.
As for Maxi "tap in" Rodriguez, well, he's just the right man at the right place! :D

Edit: Interestingly enough, all 3 Liverpool wins in 2012 have come on Tuesdays...

Also our record with the 4-5-1 formation (the one we employed yesterday) has been formidable:

(4-5-1) - Played 6, Won 4, Drawn 1, Lost 1, Points 13

This in comparison to our most used formation this season:

(4-4-2) - Played 14, Won 7, Drawn 4, Lost 3, Points 25

Good to see Blackburn lose today. Lessens the pressure on Villa a bit. I mean Aston Villa can't go down, can they? Who could imagine Villa in the Championship alongside Bristol, Middlesboro, Burnley etc? The Villa players seem like the spirit has been sucked out of them :facepalm. I fear for our safety. It just goes from bad to worse to abysmal for us. And just as the going was getting tough, Petrov was diagnosed with Leukaemia. GOD HELP US!

For England's sake i hope that goal can spark Carroll on to some kind of goal scoring run between now and the end of the season.

Unlucky Blackburn. Should have got a point from that. Saw that Skrtel fouled Grant Hanley in the place where Carroll ran in to head it in for the winner. Four straight defeats for them, but at least it lessens some of the pressure on Villa...

Rightly enough, Carroll's goal seemed to have gotten to the earth's disbelief. Now it's triggered a massive earthquake.

Good header though..

Best wishes to 'Stan' - keep fighting!

Jordan Henderson is a player I really like. Still not worth ?20m but he shows genuine talent. Unfortunately, a lot of the time he looks too frightened on the ball in the final third, but that confidence will come with time.

I wish Blackburn had beaten them last night. At least they'll be going into the cup semifinal without a proper reserve keeper. I'd like to think we're just coming into form at the right time with Jelavic on fire and a weakened side scoring 4 against Sunderland but unfortunately none of that really counts for anything in a derby.

Definitely. I think he's just been frightened by the jump up to a club of Liverpool's stature and hasn't been as adventurous as he was at Sunderland. He's always nervous and it doesn't help when Carroll gets angry at him all the time despite not doing anything useful himself. Shelvey and Henderson both show a lot of promise.

Utd's reliance on Scholes is plain embarrassing. Giggs is abysmal in central midfield.

Add to that the most important fact that Kenny regularly plays him (Henderson) out of position at the wings!

Oh and as for United, never ever ever ever ever rest Scholesy ever! Atrocious display against their bunny opposition.
