No - I don't believe in miracles. Bit of defiance instead.

Sir Alex has to do something about our midfield - that's the weak link right now. If we sign nothing but two midfielders this summer, that'll do me. No doubt Blue Plastic will buy another shedload of players as they try and purchase the CL as well...

@Sattar: You stated that you've supported City for seven years, yet here you are on the verge of your first title since before man walked on the moon (ha ha ha ha ha) and you haven't put up a celebratory avatar? Add to that you revealed you had no idea about the history of Utd's youth academy when you said that no first teamers at Utd have come through the academy. You've supported City for two or three years tops - about the same time the money arrived...

Yeah, that's what Chelsea thought as well when they had all their success. Everyone was saying that was the end of Man Utd. Lasted a few years, then back we came with three in a row. We dealt with them, we'll deal with you.

That new avatar of mine isn't for decoration. ;)

Yep, and they deserve it because they've worked for it for a long, long time. As I've said before, even before the takeover, they were knocking on the door and were ready to move to the next level. So I hope they win the CL - but it took a long, long time to get there and remember what happened last time they were in a CL final. Getting to the final will mean nothing if they don't win it.

As for your lot, you weren't knocking on the door, you didn't even know where the door was. :lol :lol

^^Yes we didnt know where the door was and now we have shown you the exit door:lol:lol:lol i knw u will never agree but your manager has also admitted that city are here to stay and we should be use to it

That's a fair point - the team obviously did get overconfident and relaxed. Going eight points clear was probably the worst thing that could've happened - if the gap had remained small, the team would've remained focused.

Toure is an outstanding footballer. Definitely deserves to win the league this season.

As I said, that's what Chelsea thought, yet that's not quite how it happened. Sure, you're here to stay - so are Chelsea - but guess what? So are we. ;)

Yep - any more out there like him? A Toure is definitely what we need in midfield. A Toure type and a world class attacking mid.

And its good for nuetral as well more competition now top 4 is becoming top 6 or 7 manchesters arsenal totenham chelsea newcastle liverpool

This whole goal difference thing has affected Utd psychologically: the Everton game for example, the team simply forgot the most important thing: win the game, get the damn points on the board! Winning that game would put us two points clear right now - and goal difference could be +100 - it wouldn't matter. Points on the board are what matter, and we had two more for the taking against Everton. As I said before, that game was the very definition of how to lose a title. :facepalm

See how Valencia and especially Young are playing tonight? Why weren't these two playing Monday night, terrorising City's defence the way they're terrorising Swansea's? :facepalm

The league table don't lie

The best best team will win the title the worst go down stating the obvious i know,,

City best 11, best squad 38 games = title.

Champions league,, best team doesnt always win it,, liverpool-05,,inter 2010

Well done city

That should be enough for City. Frustrated to draw against Wolves. Means we could do with a result against Newcastle now.

Specifically, the goals column doesn't lie. As Neville said, we had many chances where we really should've given some teams a real hiding. We didn't, City did - that's what it's come down to - and I foresee another hiding for QPR next week. 4-0 minimum, I'll go for. I'm amazed that Wigan's necks are still on the line despite how they've been playing this past few weeks.

Blowing an eight point lead in two weeks though - you can't do that and expect to win this league. For me, our midfield is weak - it should be the main focus this summer. Keeper looks good, defence looks good, wingers look wonderful and so does attack. Maybe we should've bought Scholsey back sooner. :p

Rumours are abound that we're to sign a Japanese playmaker from Borussia Dortmund, but I can't say I've ever heard of him.
