Clichy loses the ball, RVP takes the free kick, Nasri deflects it, and Utd win the Manchester Derby...all thanks to Arsenal.

Nasri has been costing City all season, he is one of those players that can do a brilliant invisibility trick and be utterly ineffectual for matches on end. This game he obviously had a direct impact on the game. I think he cost City quite a bit with his general play as well though, when it's the Manchester derby you need every player present, sadly that was not the case.

I'm a bit puzzled at how Balotelli keeps starting too. I understand Mancini likes to rotate, but this is too far...

Yea Nasri is blowing hot & cold indeed. But to me City's biggest problem is yaya toure not being his 100% true self. Since the real madrid c-league i have not seen him make those trademark power runs from mid-field, like he did countless times last season.

If he was himself, Carrick/Cleverley would have had much more difficult afternoon in their roles & it may have affected United's game.

Good to see Henry back, though I don't want it to interfere with other targets.

On Huntelaar, he isn't what we need IMO, Huntelaar will do nothing except finish chances. Our problem is creating them, we need a creative winger and if need be we can move Podolski into the centre and have him compete with Giroud. Since Walcott is leaving two forwards are needed.

It's so crystal clear that Tevez/Aguero is City's best strikeforce, by miles! But then again, that's what happens when you have four top quality strikers, none of whom are youngsters making their way in the game: no one's going to be happy sitting on the bench. Good luck managing all the egos, Mancini. :D

Just watched the RvP goal again - that was really bad play by Nasri! If you look at the ball's original trajectory, it's heading straight into the wall; had Nasri stood his ground, City walk away with a point. I don't think I've ever seen someone do that before: actually hide behind the remainder of the wall, and then stick his foot out to deflect the ball home! Nice one, Samir. :D

Balotelli is a youngster. Problem is he isn't normal though.

What's your view on Nasri? Are you glad you guys didn't get him? He always underachieved for us except for his few months at the club, I was just waiting for this sort of form to come onto him. I'm sure he'll get the axe soon enough.

Balotelli is a.... Balotelli. That's all you can say about that. ;)

Nasri? He blows hot and cold - when he's on form, he's a great player but I don't know. Perhaps it's good we didn't get him.

Glad we didnt get him. Never a massive fan of him, think hes the kind of character that would have a spat with Fergie at some point.

nasri wouldn't have played nearly as much at man u had he played at the same level.

managers can puff out their chests and blow hot air all the like but not many really do have gumption of alex ferguson and would be prepared to bench a high profile star signing on hundreds of thousands a week if we wasn't doing well enough. so yeah, either nasri would have been out soon after a spat, sitting on the bench or playing a lot better.

Ah yea that's a fair point. But that a weird thing about Arsenal this season, a mid-field trio of Arteta/Wilshire/Cazorla really should be creating chances every minute for the front men.

Well, to be fair, it's hard to judge really at this stage. They've barely played more than 5-6 games together isn't it? Arteta is more of a holding midfielder now and barely goes forward, Wilshere isn't back to his best and Cazorla seems to be getting double and triple marked out of the game. I reckon if we pick up a good creative winger as well (I'm dreaming, but I'd love Isco!!!), that should no longer be a problem. Either way, I don't want Huntelaar. Another problem is huge wages and he isn't exactly young either. I'd much rather Llorente, even if he is a bit similar to Giroud, if we absolutely have to buy a striker.
