Yeah... Suarez or Bale for me.

Should be Suarez but he won't win it.

RVP has quietened down a bit but he's still more deserving than Bale. Bale has been electric since February but before that his performances couldn't touch RVP. RVP has still come up with decent performances in the last month, he has gotten a goal or assist in all but two games this season I believe in the league.

Mata deserves it more than Bale too. He has been good all season after a few bad games at the start of the season (fatigue related surely).

1, Suarez
2. RVP
3. Mata
4. Bale
5. Michu

Your list is fine, but I'd replace Michu with Benteke.

Van Persie hasn't adjusted to the fact that his season doesn't end in February, like at Arsenal.

That can be the only explanation! After all, his form for Holland is red-hot, yet for us he's just sort of... stopped. :lol:lol:lol

Well that's that for Reading. QPR could face a similar fate if they lose their game as well.

Ramirez seemed quite good, I wonder how on earth did other clubs let him go to Southampton.

he chose southampton over other clubs, essentially.

think liverpool were the main side he spurned

United boasting an 87% win record when Tom Cleverley starts. That's mathematically more than 5 wins for every 6 games! Astounding.

Stoke getting relegated tops my wishlist for this season right now. Anyone else here with me?

I'm with you.

Ramirez did say that a lack of concrete interest meant that he went to Southampton, he must have meant the money factor there I guess, I must have misread it.

Well, that was a load of rubbish. Boring as hell first half, not much better in the second apart from the last part of the game. Great goal by Aguero (again) and City deserved their win. As soon as Aguero got the ball, I knew he was going to score - you just cannot give that guy an inch in the box!

So now the gap is back to 'only' twelve points. I'm not worried City will catch us, but I am concerned that maybe we'll go on a bit of a late season slide and they'll be able to give the table more respectability than had we held on for the draw. We weren't on it tonight and to be honest haven't really been on it for a few weeks now - it's like they're easing off because the gap is so big, instead of really rubbing City's noses in it.

The only thing I'm not sure about, and I'd like to see this again, is City's first goal. If that took a deflection off the City players in the box, then the goal was a mile offside. Still - Giggs had a bit of a brain freeze there, otherwise that goal wouldn't have happened.

OK - I've seen it again now - no deflection off a City player, but as Gary Neville just said, Tevez is blocking the keeper's vision so is technically interfering with play. To be fair though, I'd be furious if a Utd goal was disallowed for that. Now we have to bounce back from this, otherwise I can see us going on a late season slide.
