Hmm i wonder if Suarez quits English football after this ban, if Rogers in search for a new striker would consider an English strike combo of Carroll/Strurridge?

Really loving Coutinho at Liverpool. Hope he gets played centrally behind the striker, here on. Absolutely bossed it. His vision of passing was just scintillating. And good to see a hungry Daniel Sturridge tonight, played with a never say never attitude throughout. Also Lucas had his best game tonight, since his injury setback. Borini scored his first league goal for Liverpool too!

I've just seen the Liverpool result on MoTD. Suarez who? ;)

Terrible mistake by Hart today - not what you want to see as an England (or City) fan. He has made a fair few clangers this season as well.

Yep, all gone down hill since the game against Dortmund at home, and Mancini being the harsh figure that he is hasn't helped the cause at all.

Apparently, Wenger has compared RvP to a childless woman who is running out of time to have children. If that's an attempt at mind games Arsene, it's pretty crap. Besides which, RvP has a good few years left in him.

You've lost it...

It's a pretty reasonable good comparison imo.

Well, that was the typical Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free card right there - we were rubbish throughout that half and only really started to show signs of life towards the end. I expect us to go on and win it now. Theo's leg was offside but as is the case with so many goals, it's an easy one to miss. I really think the offside rule should be open to a bit more common sense.

Well played to the Arsenal fans who applauded RvP on to the pitch - he did play for you for almost a decade after all. It's not his fault your owners showed a lack of ambition by continually selling their best players. ;)

Ye i suspect Hart has got a bit comfortable due to lack of challengers for both club & country in the last 2 seasons this year. Thankfully for England at least Ben Foster came out internationally retirement to keep him on his toes.

I really hope Utd don't ease off for these last few games and let City close the gap to something more respectable. Still it doesn't really matter too much because who keeps sprinting at top speed once they've crossed the line? Unless you're that German guy from the Olympics who started jumping hurdles after finishing his race. :lol :lol :lol

I'm not bothered. I'd like to see some of the young lads like Powell and Januzaj get some first team experience.
