Gotta love pissing off people on FIFA. Played a guy today and beat him 4-0 with Atletico Madrid, he was Chelsea. He wanted a rematch, so I thought I'd take him on once again. This time I'm Liverpool and he is Arsenal. I score twice on the stroke of half time and he quits

I currently have played 6 online games and won all 6. I average almost 4 goals a game and my best result was a 7-1 thrashing of Barcelona with Liverpool. Torres got all 7 goals and it was 5-0 at HT. Fair play to the guy, he didn't quit.

Game AI best ever?

The best ever game AI for a football game was PES5.

This is good but pales in comparison to PES5.

When I said AI I really meant motion and general real life accuracy. PES5 did in fact have better AI, but it wasn't, in my opinion, as good as FIFA10. This latest FIFA just feels so close to real football it's untrue, and the real magic lies when you play against a mate. Online does annoy me because it's a lot slower than normal play, and most games tend to be dead scrappy. But overall it's the best football game I've played (Except Fifa 98. Legend of a game!)

On fully manual controls and slow gameplay speed it is good.

But it really isn't the best ever.

Ball physics can be poor, keepers are generally ████, chip shots are very easier, there is too big a bias of strength>speed etc etc.

And aside from the AI, the Manager Mode is quite ████.

Oh and the player switching is horrendous and the fact you can only lock onto one player when challenging for aheader is laughable.

It's still better than this year's PES, mind.

The switching players things is awful and majorly annoying. But apart from that I disagree with the ball physics. Top class keepers aren't bad, and most people play with the best teams so that isn't a problem. I do hate when they are one-on-one when playing against the CPu and it always brings your keeper out and they place their chip shot perfectly. Most of the time I find it incredibly difficult to get my chip shots at the right power let alone get them on target 100% of the time.

That was pretty impressive, but I'm sure there's been better. On PES08 that I've been just playing (I know, wrong game, but yeah) Elano scored a goal from about 35 yards out from a corner, the ball came in, headed out by the defence, and Elano took a blistering shot from 35 yards through all of the defenders and into the corner of the net.. was a nice goal.

Depends whether you like online play or not. If yes then get it, if no then maybe not because of the buggy manager mode.

Go with FIFA 09, I found it more fun. It'll be cheap too so you can maybe get NBA 2K10 also.

Nah. Fifa 10 beats 09 in every way. Just it's fluidity and and everything it just amazing. It rivals PES 5 in gameplay.
