The premier Bangladeshi all-rounder is currently the sixth-highest wicket taker and 56th highest run scorer in all T20s. His bowling average goes even below 20 in international T20s. One of the greatest cricketer produced by Bangladesh, Shakib has represented various teams in different T20 competitions worldwide and has given many excellent and consistent performances. He has excelled in all three formats and remains a vital cog for his national side.

While he is picked mainly for his bowling ability, he will bat at no. 3 (897 runs at 28.03, SR 120.56 in T20Is) and anchor the team. Similar to what Shikhar Dhawan does in the IPL. His ODI and Test records prove his batting accumen and if anyone has any doubts, you must look at his performance in 2019 CWC.
