Would any of the English guys be up for a good ol' network game over the christmas period? We tried one over summer but never quite made it work past a few goes. Would be good to do the Premiership playing with a club outside of the Top 4.

I'll possible be in for EPL. Holidays, I have no life etc etc means I'll be available most times - even in the middle of the night. Last time with La Liga was meh, really don't like it. EPL might be okay. Worth a go imo

Hmm.. I'm less inclined to have people from Aus in as it restricts the times that it can be done at. If it is just people from England then the time is a lot more flexible.

well if it's in the holidays, I should be fine for about 3 quarters of the day, provided I'm not going away for my holidays.

to be fair with the ashes coming up I too will be living on aus time.

Decided to start a game loading English league down to Blue Square S/N, Italian leagues down to Serie C/2 and French to CFA as well as a view only Spanish top 2 league, planning to start at the bottom. I've decided to start with Dover, down in Blue Square South and made 5 free transfer signings so far, including Carlton Cox, the star for East Manchester in my story in FM10 who had been out of contract at Aldershot. I'm planing on probably getting to the Premier League or win it even, then move to Serie C/2 and then once I get to the top division or even win it, I'll go to France and do the same. I'm going to try and do that in as little time as possible. I should promote in my first season as I'm predicted 2nd.

Well whilst we debate the ups and downs of a network game, I have been ploughing through an Everton save. Playing it on my laptop, so playing it is pretty slow and just about to make it to Christmas. Currently sat in 6th with the table looking like, 18 games unless stated otherwise;

Chelsea - 43
Liverpool - 42
West Ham - 37
Man Utd - 35
Tottenham (17) - 34
Everton - 34
Arsenal - 31
Blackburn - 31

Table is so incredibly random, Villa are bottom with just 5 points from 18 games & City are 9th with 28 points. Werd. My results have been fairly up and down beaten both Arsenal and Man United but also lost to Liverpool and Chelski fairly heavily. Had 3 games that have gone to 4-3 against Bolton, Birmingham and Cardiff (League Cup Semi).

In all formats, Yakubu has 11 goals from 13 games, Donovan with 9 from 17 and then Santa Cruz with 6 from 6. Have found some pretty good fluidity when going forwards but I keep leaking goals. In the Premier League alone I have scored 30 and conceded 26 and with little money available in the January transfer window somehow need to shore it up. Put a bid in for Heinze in monthly instalments, other wise not sure where else to go.

But whilst my strikers (of which I have 6) are still scoring, conceding isn't too bad.

Through to the semi's of the league cup to play Man United, whilst playing Carlisle in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup.

Keep getting a crash dump when I go to the Boardroom Requests page. Annoying.

Managed to save Woking from relegation. Having lost most of my team in the off-season hopefully I can get promotion with a new squad.
