Yeah theres loads of graphics and database patches for FM

Got my game today, so please do be kind enough to point me in the direction of the best graphics patch for the game, the lack of faces and badges for major PL clubs is anoying!

Just create a GRAPHICS folder in My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008
Then create a folder called PICTURES. Make a folder for KITS, LOGOS, PLAYERS..
Then dump the files in their respective folders, load game, turn OFF skin cache, reload skin.. Sorted

Is the game kept up to date with patches and rosters? I want to ask for it for a Christmas present, but I don't want an out of date game after the January transfer window. If there are patches and rosters to download, it will be alright.

Yeah, SI Games release an official patch including the January transfer window changes and all managerial changes in February.

The community patches are better though, Fm Weegie was a fantastic update for Fm 07. The SI Games patches are pretty good though. When you buy it Lee, pop onto Sortitoutsi.net and there should be a whole host of graphical downloads and various utilities.

He probably means League One, as in the third teir of football.
