OMFG amazing win. This was on Football Manager 07 with 7.02 patch. No player editor what so ever.

I beat Aresenal 6-0 in the FA cup with Farsley Celtic before and that was also without editor. i think i still have the save somwhere so when i reinstall 07 i will post it up

I'm looking forward to FM09 intensely. Don't worry, Rob, I couldn't get into Football Manager Live either.

Yeah, I loved it massively at the start, but then the messages pile up when you log on, half the time i went on, there was server fixing going on, being in Australia, plus other interests, eg. EWR, Pro Cycling Manager, FM etc cut playing time down.

if you dont start when you GW starts
you dont create a youth team early
you dont be carreful with wages etc etc

ITS BAD

its not like FM08 cos you cant just start a new game, you are stuck forever

I built a good team, and set up some quite effective tactics and the team came 3rd in the league I think but 90% of the time there is nothing to do on it.

I am glad I got to play this before release so I know that I should avoid it.

na mate I know what you mean, you sit and play games but there is no reward.

One reason I still play is the social side, I know the other members well.

After being my life for 2 months I have barely been on in the last week and am currently back into FM08.

I will talk about my lower league game

took charge of Workable (Hong Kong First Division)

there were 8 games left in the season and they were rock bottom(10 points in relegation). I signed a Tanaka on loan at AMC/ST and he dominated.

P 8 W 6 D 1 L 1

came 15/20 6 points clear of relegation

08/09

Stuck with them ,

signed a few gun asians

came 3rd

P 38 W 21 D 9 L 8

decent season very happy with it knocked out in all cups first round.

09/10

played first 7 and won every single game didnt concede a goal!!!!!

then save game was lost:crying

I have downloaded a Legends database!

Its amazing! You can play with the likes of Classic Man Utd, Classic Liverpool, Classic Barca etc.
