Story Go Tigers Go - A Bangladesh Story! | ICC Cricket World Cup 2011

the tail's wagging i see.. :D, thats a really good presentation very aesthetically pleasing.

btw do you play the game or auto-simulate?

I play the game actually. Sometimes when it is boring then, I simulate some overs. So, a mixture of both.

These AC09 screens tempt me again to revive mine :D And for autoplaying, AC09 is good simulator in my opinion too. But yeah, need more patience when comes to these test matches on any game engine.

Ha ha yeah, rightly said mate.

If anyone is wondering why I changed the stories in between, it is only because I wanted to try something different. Once I complete the other one with Shan, I'm sure I'll resume this. Cheers for all the support as this story has been and will always be my favorite. Bangla Tigers will once again roar, for sure.

The biggest carnival of Cricket is all set to begin at Dhaka on February 19 where the in-form Indians take on the dangerous Tigers. The co-hosts are ready to have a go at each other and India will look to settle the scores straight after the loss against Bangladesh in World Cup 2007 in the Caribbean. On the other hand, Bangladesh will want to start an all important tournament on a high especially against their home crowd.

This tournament will have 14 teams divided in two groups competing for the title to be the best of the best. It is surely going to be an exciting one and we look forward to bring all the updates to you right here on Planet Cricket. Follow us as we keep a close eye on how Bangladesh go about their job in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011. We will be back next time with the groups and schedule of the tournament. Later, we will have a look at the squads of all the teams followed by a deep analysis on what Bangladesh look like on paper. Will the tigers roar? Well, only time will tell...

It has been 14 years since the World Cup took place in Asia. In 1996, it was the Lankan Lions who stood tall and emerged winners of that edition. Who will it be this time round? Pakistan, will not host any games given the security concerns. The tournament will run for a period of 43 days with 49 matches to be played. India will be hosting a majority of 29 games followed by 12 matches in Sri Lanka and 8 matches in Bangladesh.

The fourteen teams participating are divided into two groups as -

Group A Teams | Played | Won | Tied | Lost | No Result | Net Run Rate | Points
Australia | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Canada | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Kenya | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
New Zealand | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Pakistan | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Sri Lanka | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Zimbabwe | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0

Group B Teams | Played | Won | Tied | Lost | No Result | Net Run Rate | Points
Bangladesh | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
England | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
India | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0
Ireland | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0

Bes of Luck User!
It seems that ICC Battle of Supremacy will be permanently run by Riz.
I hope India will be able to win against the tigers to take the revenge of their loss in previous WC.And for me Group A looks much stronger than Group B.Lets see who manages to take over this WC.:thumbs

He's doing it pretty well. I thought this might be the time to enjoy Bangladesh's Journey. Maybe, I will do some updates if he needs.

Good update their mate. I have a feeling that Australia have the upper hand here in the world cup though, and i am going to bet they will take out the trophy this year.

Anyway, good update and i look forward to this series. Keep up the good work.

India to win the world cup and Bangladesh to reach semi's. :D

Good to see this story back. :)

Wonderful update mate. I still believe Australia have the strongest group. Although looking at that England side, they have plenty of talent, and they'll prove dangerous throughout the series.

India are a good batting unit but the only worry for the Indian team will be their bowlers. If the bowlers bowl well then there is no question that India stand a chance of winning the world cup.

Good to see Pujara and Parthiv in the Indian squad.Hope they performs well and book their spot in the squad. And why no warne in bangla squad?:p
And lets see if Bangladesh is able to create any upsets and get themselves to the semi's.It would be tough job but lets see........
