Tensed situation!!!

The Bangladeshi supporters had all their hopes on Mahmudullah to take them anywhere near the target.Who knew what Abdur Razzak was upto? While Mahmudullah couldn't get the timing right,it was Razzak who stood up taking on the bowlers. He hit a big six to get him going and continued aggressive cricket by turning over the strike.Mahmudullah seemed to take a step backwards and let Razzak play his shots.Excitement was building and crowd was once again brought to life by this duo.Razzak was turning on the heat big-time.

With both the batsmen going along smoothly,Srilanka made it even worse for themselves by dropping crucial chances and it was even more worse to see skipper dropping one.Fielders weren't up to the ball quickly and Bangla batsmen stealed significant runs. Some good running between the wickets helped their cause. It was a combined effort of their Hard-work and some Luck that Bangladeshis caused trouble for the Lankans.Still it was in favour of the Srilankans as Bangladesh required 29 runs to win off the last 2 overs.

Nuwan Kulasekara was off the field as he pulled off one of the muscles and couldn't bowl.Sangakkara had to go with Welegedara who already proved to be quite expensive. The penultimate over couldn't have started at a more worse note than it had.Welegedara let one go hay-wire and wide enough as Sanga inspite of stretching fully couldn't stop it.It was 5-wides and 5 runs were gifted to the opposition.Mahmudullah didn't let this opportunity go and striked the next ball for four. The 49th over cost Srilanka 18 runs.Bangladesh now need 11 runs off the last over with Mahmudullah on strike.Could the 49th over prove to be the turning point in this game?Well,to find out do join us later!Till then, keep on racking your brains.

Twists and turns!

Welcome back! The situation is pretty tensed here and you can cut the tension with a knife.Bangladesh supporters are all over and can sense victory here.Mahmudullah is on strike and on 46 not out.Perera has been given the ball as Bangladesh require 11 runs from this over.So here goes Perera with Mahmudullah facing....

Perera bowled a full-length delivery and Mahmudullah hit it over the top towards long-off.He couldn't get under it and didn't time it perfectly. But the batsmen did well to cross over for 2 runs. That made the equation -9 to win from 5 balls.Mahmudullah was on 48 and Perera would be eyeing the block-hole here.

2r7mq37.jpg

As expected,Perera went for the yorker.Mahmudullah did well to connect it and yet again the two batsmen ran two runs.Mahmudullah got to his fifty and put his bat towards the crowd while knowing that job was not yet over. Now, 7 runs were needed to win from 4 balls.Sangakkara came to Perera and made some changes to the field.

Mahmudullah now had to go for it.He played the next one to the leg-side but couldn't get past the fielder. It was 7 to win for 3 balls and tension was mounting.Pressure was on Mahmudullah now and he couldn't get over it.He tried to slog the next two balls missing them completely and that was it for the Bangladesh. The only thing now the spectators and everyone who supported Srilanka hoped that Perera doesn't ball a no-ball or a wide.Bangla now needed 7 runs to win from just 1 ball.

With 7 runs needed,Mahmudullah had no other option and had to hit one out of the park.He went for the cross-batted shot and missed the sight of the ball. The ball knocked his middle-stump over and Srilanka had come out of a hole here.Perera was the man for them while Mahmudullah just tried a bit too much.Srilanka won by 6 runs but Bangladesh showed they are here to fight and will not give up till the end.

:( Bangladesh lost it. Nonetheless they tried their best. Good presentation again User2010,KIU.

Oh dang! THis is actually really good because in most stories, the main team doesn't lose. Excellent job with the presentation, let's see how they do next :D

I dont like the new picture font, it looks weird . And a 'space bar' after each coma, or period.
I'm just experimenting a few things with that.Nice to get suggestions on those things as that will help me a lot.Didn't quite get the second thing though.

A little bit realistic as the main team of the story doesnt lose in many stories..... good luck for the 2nd one!!!!!!!!

:facepalm Bangladesh lost :facepalm any way Chasing and losing by only 6 runs don't matter in Triangular series BTW it will boost the Bangladesh team confidence since they lost only by 6 runs and Opponents get ready we will be back like a Tiger as we are with more Hunger of Victory .........:spy

A little bit realistic as the main team of the story doesnt lose in many stories..... good luck for the 2nd one!!!!!!!!
My main aim is to make it as close to real as I can.I know Bangladesh is main team but I also have to understand that it is 'Bangladesh'.So I'll try to keep this going on and turn Bangla tigers into world beaters some day hopefully.Cheers!
