I doubt it because each team will only play 3 games so carrying points forward would give an unfair advantage--maybe even one that could not be overcome by a team that won all their games. Of course, logic is not ICC's big thing.

Nope. Its a new group and the teams that have qualified start from the scratch for their respective groups. The points are not carried.

at the begin of this twenty20, i wanted india to beat scotland atleast and get through to the super 8s. they beat pakistan which was a bonus, and i hope india can get to the semis. they have beat africa in a twenty20 before. england india would want revenge after the one day series. new zealand i am not too sure, but get a win tomorrow and then we have got a good chance. however, the three teams i said that might win were s africa, england or pakistan due to expierence and i really thought england can win, i still think they got a chance but not confident how i was first. if my predictions comes right then india may be out before the semis. soo please let my predictions be wrong.

I personally feel that India will advance to the next round with victories over New Zealand and England. I also feel South Africa will win all their games.

Quite fancy England beating SA tomorrow they looked a little one dimensional in the bowling without a spinner.And they only have three genuine batsmen so i think they could struggle against a decent England attack i'd like to see Snape come in as SA as we know don't play spin aswell as other nations.
